Doesn’t mean Blizzard have to pander to those selfish players though, does it?
If you check my achievements, I was clearing +8 achievements the day they were unlocked. It was within a few hours of reset.
They need to be much harder to be requisite to the rewards they provide, and to provide meaningful seasonal cadence.
I’d be fine with that, because they’d be fun instead of one-and-done content (I’m done after I get all the achievements - I’m 90% of the way there).
To add to that tough, the delve stories have been fun. I appreciate the quest designers - the elephant one in myomancer caverns was hilarious.
Big disagree. The delves are tuned challenging enough for the crowd they cater to.
Sorry you had to be introduced to an easy mode, entry level version of the new system.
They wanted you to see it.
I’m not sure what sort of insanity you’re spouting about paladins, but you seem like the sort of player who end game gearing wouldn’t have mattered to regardless.
Good luck.
Once again, you’re missing the point entirely.
If you are elite at the game, delves weren’t really intended for you. And blizzard says you don’t need to do them if you don’t want to.
I never said we were the same.
The rush you get is reward enough, again another example of the reward for effort, gear should not apply.
Nerf is needed
Delves are a net positive in gearing for raiders, and m+ players. The only people complaining, are the one’s that don’t want other people to get gear. It’s not about an inconvenience for them. It’s about they want good gear to themselves, and feel uncomfortable about that level of gear being accessible without them.
Bad actor who benefitted from delve gearing to go do mythic trying to delete the reward intended for the casuals. More news at 11.
WOW that was the most condescending post i have ever read. Maybe they should make the Uber epic version of wow , so you don’t have to play with us lower class types?
Ah, gatekeepers. Exactly right.
I am a bad player, and delves are pretty much a loot pinata.
Nerf is needed
Sure you are buddy, sure you are… lol.
You just don’t want casuals to get gear. I understand.
You know that is the solution, the Squidward Tentacles version of wow for elite players , so Us dirty casual players can get a crappy peice of green vendor garbage reward from delves on NORMAL version.
This poster didn’t come here to have a conversation.
They came here to spout tin foil elitist “us vs them” nonsense.
Everything is just going to be interpreted as “people don’t want me to have gear cry face”
Nope, I want everyone to get gear relative to the effort put in.
When you have a situation, where this isnt balanced, the gaming population skews itself to one version of the game, and participation in other areas is reduced.
People complain about not getting into mythic + groups, or that there arent enough tanks. I think part of the problem is, those with limited time are choosing to put their time into delves, because the reward for time benefit is high and the best use of their limited time.
In an ideal situation, if it was balanced, that gaming population would be balanced as well. The ideal is not possible, I am just suggesting to make is as close as you can. That would involve nerfing delve gear to spread that player base.
Let’s assess this point for a moment. Yes m+ drops exceed the number of delve keys you can get in a week. However.
The number of delve keys you can do a week is roughly 7-8. And the drop chance of items is 100%
Comparatively mythic+ drops an item 2/5 times you complete it. That means in order to get the comparative 7-8 items (Not counting maps which are roughly 1/10 for hero track items) that’s 20~ mythic+ dungeons a week.
Delves should have been as hard as mythic+ 4-5s. As it stands they’ve utterly cannibalised lower m+ and created an issue of 60X delve geared players who do not know their classes / the dungeons going into +7s assuming it’s the next logical step for them because that’s where the ilvl upgrades are.
You seem the be the one who came to spout your nonsense about 4 chances of loot a week, with a high chance of getting a repeat, being too rewarding compared to your mythic plus spamming all week…
You get mythic tracking in your vault, I think.
Delves do not.
This is the point I made.
You have not properly addressed this point, and it’s the first comment I’ve made.
Understand the point and then attempt to refute it.
Good luck!
From +10s only, yes. +10 keys are significantly harder than they have been in previous expansions. The jump from +9 to +10 is enormous due to the added affix.
