Saw something on Wowhead’s newest Delves article that caught my eye.
Meaning – you must use a bountiful coffer key if you want loot at the end of any tier 4+ to scale up. Optimally, you would only use bountiful coffer keys at tier 8, since that’s the best loot.
Also, remember not to enter bountiful delves to unlock higher tiers, as we only get 4 bountiful delves each day, and you don’t want to waste a potential lootbox on lower tiers.
man if that’s true, that’s insanely depressing.
Seems like an anti-hoarding tactic so players aren’t sitting on dozens of keys.
Smash to Tier 8 or higher delves, use keys, wait for daily reset, use keys again; my plan hasn’t really changed.
You can just do 4 more the next day
Yeah. Run some regular delve on 4-6. Do bountiful on 7-8 (still get heroic in the vault with 7. Only it’s 1/?? instead of 2 or 3/??)
hard to get into M+ if not an “optimal” class/spec
Delves dont replace M+ or realistically Raids. It does replace a need for M0 since you get better gear and crests in the bountiful delves. But not M+. But replaces the need to do LFR/normal raids.
Bleh, I just looked at a tier ranking for season 1. No one is going to be taking BM hunter or Fire mages I see this time around

Okay so run your own keys? I played Feral Druid during BfA and ran my own keys to gear up. Before I knew it I was clearing 8s/10s.
Edit: My biggest advice is learn how to tank. Rolling a tank and maining one is like playing a completely different game. You can solo everything, you have instant queues, you’re WANTED for content and actively sought after.

that normal dungeon gear looks great i love 554 gear you can’t even upgrade this is amazing and i have to commend blizzard for this thought provoking new-age idea!
I am pretty sure you grind non-bountiful delves up to 8. Then do bountiful delves and use keys at that point for reward (4 a day).
Run non-bountiful delves until you unlock tier 8, then run bountiful delves at tier 8 for the champion-track end of dungeon loot and fill your world content row of GV loot in hero track options.
Tak-Rethan Abyss, Sinkhole are probably the fastest runs, if they don’t turn out bountiful when realms come back up.

Delves are a cool side project for achievements/ugly cosmetics. The vault will likely be garbage, not like we’re going to be looking for tier and trinkets in there.
Meh, whatever. Is what it is. I think anyone who believed they could “quickly” heroic gear in Delves had been misled from the beginning.
This week it rewards higher ilvl than m0 so people will try to take advantage on that before m+ kicks off next week.
Oh for sure. In the beginning it’ll be a really nice supplement to what is currently open.
Beyond that it won’t be a huge deal.
Having champion track items from delves will make trading gear in M0 / raids this week easier.
For guild / dedicated dungeon groups, anyway.
