I feel you man. I have un-subbed due to no RFD in WOTLK and will not be purchasing Blizzard games in the future. I will play out the rest of my sub and see how WOTLK goes without it. Currently playing on TBC with many people leveling and it is still a pain in the rear to form groups at most times.

I find your decision baffling, since deleting a character does not impact Blizzard at all. Not renewing your sub impacts them financially. Even if one sub is a bit of a drop in the ocean. But deleting a character could only negatively impact one person — you.

Blizzard doesn’t care about the deleted character at all, but if it was therapeutic for the OP that’s ok. I’ve known people who have done the same thing before quitting the game.
The unsubbing was good here though. Hopefully, the box as to why the unsub happened was filled out with a lot of good keywords specifying the cancelation reasons for whatever system they put that in.

… In addition to deleting your character. My point is that that action does not impact Blizz in any way, compared to cancelling your sub. In fact, the only person it has any possibility of negatively impacting is yourself.
Uhh, that is very worrying. Although I’m not a big hater, I concede that there are circumstances out there where hate is a comparatively normal reaction. Been hit by a car and lost the use of your legs? I can see where people would hate the driver. Had your life savings stolen? I can see where people would hate the thief.
Developers made a choice about a game that you didn’t like? Errr, no. No. It’s just not important enough to warrant hatred.

Blizz has this new policy where when you cancel your sub you instantly lose all access to the game and the forum. 
Anyway, kudos OP. Good to stand up for things you believe in. If enough people did that, maybe Blizz would actually respond and do what’s right.
