Deleted Characters - How do I find a list?

I’m not 100% sure if this is the place to ask, but it seems to be.

What I’m looking for is an actual list of deleted characters across all realms, or at least the ones that I’ve had a character and deleted it. I’m assuming they only stick around for so long, but I’m hoping to find one in particular.

EDIT: I just found my oldest deleted character, a Pandaria-era Orc Hunter, is still in my deleted characters list on a realm I no longer play on. There shouldn’t really be a reason the one I’m looking for has disappeared due to time passed.

EDIT 2: I seem to have found it, but it appears to be on the realm “Dun Morogh” which I cannot find in the US Realm list, which is all I’ve ever played on.

Characters level 50 and above are the only ones permanently available for restore.
Others are deleted according to the the schedule in this article:

There is no US realm named Dun Morogh, only an EU realm.

Either you used to play the EU version of the game or you are mis-remembering the realm name.

How are you looking, Naranna? If you are using a third party search odds are you are simply finding a character in the EU region.

Unfortunately, there is no way to pull up a list of all your deleted characters. It can only be done by realm, through the Wow client.

Are you looking for a particular character? If you give me some data points I may be able to help. Name, realm, class, race, approximate level would be useful. You seem to have a fairly high number of deleted characters, many of them well over level 50.

That character was on Turalyon until the end of February of 2018, when it was transferred to Uldaman. It was deleted at the end of March of this year.

I had completely forgotten that Uldaman was my former Alliance realm. You also helped me find 5 other characters I didn’t realize existed ^u^"

Glad to help. :slight_smile: The cooldown on the character undelete is 15 days, so if you are trying to recover multiple characters you may need to prioritize.

I had a character that I deleted a long time ago and wonder what he had
Name: Dragonrend
Realm: I thought it was Dragonblight
Race: Tauren
Level: 85-90

Use the character undelete tool. That is better than necro posting in a thread that died a year and a half ago.
