The Demonic Sacrifice / Double Pet Trick
The most famous example in Classic/TBC allowed Warlocks to maintain a pet while also having the Demonic Sacrifice buff.

How it works: A warlock casts Summon Voidwalker (or another pet). Just before the cast finishes and the pet appears, the warlock activates Demonic Sacrifice. Because of the 400ms batching window, the server can sometimes register the sacrifice of the newly spawned pet and grant the buff, but due to the lag in processing, the pet might technically still exist or the game allows you to summon another pet immediately.

Result: A Warlock could have the +15% Shadow Damage buff from a sacrificed Succubus while still having a Felhunter out, or similar combinations.
Allow 400ms players who turn on artificial batching to be able to use this, even if they are unable to use hellfire to break polymorph against non toggled artificial 10ms batching players.
Something similar to it so its not like it wasnt possible.
