When properly managed, master loot was the most efficient way to distribute loot for the benefit of progression for the team.
When not properly managed, all sorts of eye-poppingly unethical shenanigans happened. And there is no data whatever on how often it was well-managed.
I prefer PL over ML simply because I have a chance to get something. Bad experiences has tainted ML for me. One guild I was in had a RL who would auction off the gear, so unless you had a crap ton of gold you werenât getting loot and in another, only the core raid team would get loot, anyone who subbed in got nothing and on alt nights the RL would keep all the loot to vender for gold to buy stuff for the core team.
True. And they still would. They just wouldnât be that useful with epics dropping everywhere
This person right here 100% gave loot only to his guildmates and didnât give PuG members a single scrap.
Itâs kind of silly that was even a thing. They had many years to change that.
This would be an amazing QOL upgrade.
