To be fair, realistically healers become the bottleneck in wrath. Every dk and warrior just “tanks” in whatever spec they use for dps.

You could tank dungeons as an a DPS spec as I did it back in the day on my Paladin in PvP gear as they are a joke. Just not the new dungeons like the ToC and ICC ones as they slap hard.

I don’t get where people get the notion that being able to Tank means people will Tank, because they really don’t. Worse was the fact that despite entry Heroics being very easy in Wrath and people mostly outgearing everything, people threw FITS on the forums about people queuing up to Tank as a non-Tank spec or with a lot of DPS gear or w/e.
I did 5mans as Blood and got raged at because “Blood can’t hold aggro!!!1” more than once. People don’t want to deal with that crap so they don’t.
The social fabric Blizzard really wants to preserve, ladies and gentlemen.
