They’re requiring 10 shards for me. Tested beast and Sorceror.
When I did it this morning, you needed the 10 shards to buy it, but it didn’t take the 10 shards.

Actually what is going to happen is a massive ban hammer dropping on anyone that uses this. It’s an exploit and Blizzard has never been gentle on players who willingly take advantage of things like this.
I would stay as far from this as possible.

The fact people don’t realise Blizzard bans liberally and swiftly for this kind of stuff is a little comedic. They have literally done these kinds of bans for years and people still exploit early and often.

Maybe they will now since they have to act like they care. Generally the saying goes exploit early exploit often. Lets see how it plays out for them.
If there’s one thing Blizzard has been consistent with, it is banning people who live by that mantra.

Sometimes they don’t ban though, so people are probably happy to take the risk.
For something that has this big of an impact on the economy Blizzard has historically been quite clear on how they treat people.

After over 15 years of Blizzard banning liberally for exploit abuse, I would not hold my breath on them being lenient here. Mark my words, the forums are about to be flooded with whiners complaining about getting banned for this.

Just hope they deleted all the gold that people got from it. Otherwise who cares, they’ll come back from the 3 day ban.
Keep an eye on those raid rosters. Some spots might be opening up soon…

They removed AP from world quests exploits very recently, don’t see why they would remove the gold gained from this.
In case anyone forgets they handed out suspensions for loot boxes that were opened more than once where people got multiple badges or whatever. I highly recommend people don’t do this but if you do, do so at your own risk.
