there is no timer on mythic zero or affixes . you should have taken your time and learn the fights one mob at a time . the issue is that people feel entitled that they deserve the reward without putting in the effort . i understand it’s stressful and probably this content is not meant for you , just keep doing heroics

i agree that heroic does not prepare for m0, but m0 prepares well for m2
your dps was not high. 175-200k is low, and you believing it to be high makes me think the others in your group had low damage
if you do not prepare for the mechanics, you are going to die. but m0 doesnt penalize you for failure aside from time and a repair bill. you can choose to be persistent and learn by doing, or decide heroics are your cap
See? The problem is Heroics are too easy, They don’t display the higher mechanics and prepare you for them. Which leaves new players, or those like me who need a refresher lost. It’s not as simple as watching a video. A group needs practice, and Heroics are too simple.

M0 is probably closer to 15 from last season given your gear ilvls. The odd thing is you used to do dungeons to gear for raid but this season it’s probably better to do the raid to gear for dungeons.

Hun, I didn’t even know what “high dps” was. Let alone parsing or anything else. I never claimed to be high dps. I was told that I was LOW, which is fine…But I also wanted to know what I was being compared to which was a 99pink parser overall in the dungeons doing 500k dps as a ilevel 500.
Dear diary today i died in mythic zero woe is me the mechanics killed me im so stressed never again will i do mythic zero. So unfair blizzard.
I think the messaging about “a +X is equal to a +Y last season” means different things to different people and is causing a lot of confusion, especially for the people having trouble at the low end.
Here’s the key messaging we should be using:
- A +8 is as high as you have to go to get the best M+ rewards in the game. That’s the cap on gear rewards.
- The whole scale is compressed, below that. A +2 isn’t all that far away from the end of the line.
If people failing low-end dungeons can look at it that way… I think they might understand, better. The old 0-to-20 scale is now 0-to-8.

Well… Yes and no.
While blizzard can’t hold everyone’s hand through the whole game you should be able to learn in game from clear indicators like - touch fire - burn hand - Ok, I know not to touch the fire.
The latest encounter design doesn’t do this. I can be running back to a fight and be 100m away and start taking damage from the fight. Where did that come from? what did someone do wrong? There’s so much damage that just happens with no clear in game indication as to where, why, and how it happened. So it’s very understandable why new players have trouble with it.

i get that you learned it was low earlier this thread, but my point is that you didnt know it was low until told, which means your group probably didnt do much damage
Hardly do any of the “new mechanics” moving from Heroic to Mythic be anything one truly needs to concern themselves with.
AA tree boss adds two bleeds. One RNG, the other constant. Neither of those are reasons for wiping to “not knowing whats going on”.
Combat log tells you what it was and who it came from. Again, in game tools that people refuse to use. And they add a death recap in the normal chat box, and the pop up box covers the last…3? seconds

225k overall DPS is so bad for ilevel 499 Spriest.
I should just quit. I am a bad player and should have never stepped foot into azeroth.
99pink parsing and knowing all fights should be an automatic thing.

if your tolerance for failure and criticism is that low then sure why not

I have plenty of tolerance for failure and criticisim if it is met with a fair comparison and explaninations.
Made some edits in the main post to address how horrible I am to keep that clear.
