I kite like a god, shifting in and out of forms, use 5 global to get some measley hots up that tick for 200 each, playing with 300 apm. It feels like I’m playing Zerg in Starcraft. Just to get killed by some mage drooling on his keyboard in 2 seconds. LOL then I go on my holy paladin and I top my allies in the press of a button, I pop wings divine toll and my entire team goes from 1% hp to 250% hp instantly?? Lol why play anything else

The game is still evolving right now, meta has changed since its release already, there’s some tuning coming out tuesday, and casters are always stronger later in the expansion where rdruid will shine cause damp comps will be good again.
Don’t think so, every healer is out scaling resto Druid already. Even in M+ the one content they used to excel in they are out scaled by Hpal/resto sham/disc priest. Just delete the class already. They suck in all facets of the game raid, pvp and m+ While also requiring the most skill.

Resto druid are pretty good right now the paladin nerf should put druid in a good place.
Oh man I can relate to this so much. I feel like I’m playing out of my mind on my druid (at least for my current knowledge) and get no where. Hop on my disc and press radiance and we’re good. I’m sure pally is even worse.

I don’t even enjoy holy paladin, I feel dirty kind of like I’m cheating when I play it. I watched this 45 year old dude named Athene on eu playing at like 2750 rating as holy paladin and it’s comical. He back peddles all over the place, never trinkets has literally no idea what’s going on and is just healing through the most absurd amounts of damage pressing like 3 buttons.

If you’re playing against a resto druid or mistweaver in 3’s, you are essentially cheating by playing a holy paladin

Resto Druid is basically bottom tier in all forms of content now down there with Mistweaver, sort of with the slight exception of keys, which they’re now just mediocre to average. Previously blizzard used to justify not buffing Rdruid because they were the kings in Mythic+ both at MDI all the way up to the highest keys done on live… Now that is absolutely not the case and Rsham, Hpal, and Disc are even out-shining Druid in M+.
Resto druid is definitely not a very good spec to play right now, regardless of the content you do.

This is so true. I watched him a bit when he first came back and dude legit didn’t even have his camera facing enemies he would just click on party frames to heal and essentially waddle in circles. But I already knew pally was busted when jacobxtv was playing 2700 mmr on a 190 ilvl paladin and no legendary.

You realize the nerfs to pally healing wise were prot and ret. The divine favor nerf is irrelevant and holy will still easily be the best healer…
Guess you have never played holy paladin if you think that the divine favor nerf is irrelevant you realize making it easier to purge divine favor removes the entire buff lmao
It actually doesn’t lol you have to remove it and stop it. If not it goes off like you never purged it at all cause of a bug. Unless they’ve randomly fixed it which I doubt it. But yea the hpally nerf isnt gonna amount to anything probably.

I mean yea I guess we can skim over the fact purging it doesnt even matter unless you can kick it too. Ever heard of trash buffs? Its not as cut and dry as you make it when the game is coded terribly.
pallies dont have that many trash buffs not to mention you can track divine favor ever heard of weak auras or omnibar?
While it’s true that organically rdruid may get stronger as the expansion goes, that’s really not an excuse for the billion dollar game company to not have constant tuning to keep at least all the healers competitive

Yea obviously pallys dont their selves but were talking about arenas not duels lol. I dont have a problem with knowing its coming. Regardless I dont think these hpally changes will amount to much. The problem I clearly stated is that you can purge it mid cast and it still go off as if you never did at all. That’s poor coding lol.

Yeah its sad when you can’t get away from the purge and watch it get deleted but a pally shouldnt be relying that much on it and of everything they could have nerfed that was the smallest thing lol

How will damp comps being good change the fact that our hots tick for like 400 and most DPS classes can do > 30k damage in under 2 seconds?
Oh, what’s a top-geared Druid’s regrowth crit for these days, on a > second cast?
