Yeah that was my main takeaway from reading the story. Apparently I’m trans now because I play a female character
I see it like this too. I mean legit, men play female characters frequently and get called she/her all the time. Evidently doesn’t bother them.
Lmao, I love these forums. On the one hand you got people going ape about how it doesn’t make sense for Dracthyr to have boobies cause “logic and science” and on the other you got “lol whatever magic and fantasy”.
Which is it GD?
What even is this?
By the way, if we do get the option for pronouns for our characters, you will be able to accomplish this if you have been wanting it.
Also, this is what theyve been linking you
As a DM for a D&D group, I have transcended beyond the understanding of mere mortals.
I will play a male and female character having a conversation with each other sometimes.
(for legal reasons, this is a joke)
No way, you mean one person says one thing and another person says something different? That’s super surprising I figured everyone here agreed on everything
Hey if the Dracthyr can’t even choose whatever race for their visage form, then it’s Blizzard that’s restricting their own realism.
Different people have different opinions. Not everyone is a hive mind.
Blizz can’t moderate their forums. So sick of the constant bigotry.
Composed of more than one person? Although I’m starting to wonder if this place isn’t 99% Talon alts.
Wait. You people still haven’t realised you’re all figments of my imagination yet? SMH.
He will not acknowledge it, because it will make him incorrect.
Ok, do we need a course on how something doesn’t affect you personally doesn’t mean it’s the same way for everyone else?
- Stop using he when referring to present day Chromie.
- If you’re going to link something, at least quote it right.
She literally says she chose a female gnome because “it suits me.”
She was a male dragon at birth and chose to present as female after she took on a visage form, because it “suited her” better - and her and every other dragon now use she/her for Chromie.
She’s trans.
You may disagree with the decision (Personally, I liked having her as a female dragon with a male name to try to break up the gender norms in dragon naming), but it doesn’t change the facts of what they wrote as lore this past year. She is trans. She is great. If you don’t like it? That’s your problem.
Sure maybe by number of threads started, but not by actual posts
Says the one trying desperately to cling to “Chromie is a he.” You do not deserve any more consideration nor time. Good day.
Not that I care one way or another but if blizz didn’t make this stuff a big deal then that wouldn’t have provoked these off the hook forum trolls, such as tul or whatever their name is.
Yeah I tend to just not tell people my gender and I have both male and female characters.
People call me whatever. As long as it’s not insulting I don’t really care.
Even if it is insulting I probably don’t care, especially if it was at least funny.
Naturally this isn’t the case for everybody and that’s cool, but it’s my own experience with the game.
The people making it a big deal is you the players.
