It’s not my fault that you treat evidence that Chromie is trans the same way a hydrophobic boot treats water. You’re responsible for your own behavior. And again, if the shoe fits.
You’re not even the first transphobic trans person I’ve met. …And I’m not even counting Blaire White when I say that. World’s a strange place like that.
When I dignify another human being by engaging in mutual conversation with them, instead of y’know–ignoring them or tossing rocks at them to get them to leave me alone–there are certain unspoken expectations I have for them, the most important one being a bare minimum level of honesty and forthcomingness that I don’t feel you’ve given me. You and a million other people have this idea in your head that you don’t have to, and that I just have to put up with it with a smile.
But sure, if that’s how you’d prefer to think of it, go for it.
My memory is so awful I probably won’t even recognize your screen-name after a week or so. So I can’t really promise that you won’t hear from me. But y’know, it’ll be an accident on my part.
I know I should stay out of this, but like so many posting in this thread I’m, at least sometimes, a fool.
From all that I’m reading the dragon in question is cis female in their humanoid form and a trans female (cis male identifying as female) in their dragon form. This confuses things as the duality of the situation isn’t something that exists in real life where you can’t change your apparent biogeological reality at will as this NPC can. It’s fantasy accept it and move on.
Because the NPC individual (according to the author who is writing them) prefers to be addressed as She / Her and because the NPC in question is imaginary and therefore subject to the whims of their author the polite pronouns to use are she / her; being polite to NPCs is in no way a requirement to play the game, RP is an integral part of the experience.
As someone in the beta. I personally disappointed that they don’t lean harder into the aspect of Dragons having perspectives greater than our own. So far the focus seems on making them super human and relatable: naturally they always had feelings, heck they were even kinda racist in early history to the point of people like Anachronos kinda shirking their duties because they didn’t wanna help creatures they viewed as lesser.
Anything thats been alive for a thousand plus years much less an infinite life span, will have an entirely alien mindset to us.
Dragons dont even have babies, they lay eggs, there is very little one on one compassion to raise children as we do, even their own hatchlings they view as more servants to them, then their beloved children.
If they would lean more into this aspect of perceptions we wouldn’t have stupid arguments over how a dragon self identifies.
Im pretty sure it identifies as a dragon.
Their racist views towards lesser life forms is understandable when you can literally fly thru time, have lived multiple centuries and freely choose which century you live in, little things like do I feel like a boy or a girl today become so mundane to be nonexistent.
Shes still trans but I predict blizzard pulling a star trek and having a ton of gay male, gay female, and NB characters being introduced, maybe even a token trans man? But not a single actual OG trans woman whatsoever. Sad, really. It’s like trans women are still the hottest walking taboo ever. Should be front and center.
Yes. You are. The STORY AUTHOR specifically told you she is she/her in all forms. We have ALWAYS referred to her as she/her in the entire existence of this game.
You are purposely misgendering and it is offensive.
Yes he was. The question was whether she is trans with she/her pronouns and he reiterated that she is she in both forms now. Period.
You are ridiculous.
Literally quoted and screenshotted for you so many times now.
To be offensive towards them, yes we know.
You have been changing this story at least three or four times now.
You have done nothing but be offensive in here, claim multiple different lifestyles and now play the victim card. I do not believe you will find sympathy.
Okay you went way far on that and stepped past a line. You should be ashamed as a transgender yourself to say something like that to someone who has also been transgender.
I can understand someone being mad, but he already felt too hurt and left the thread I saw in his last post here. Sometimes this community makes me feel sick to my stomach.
Not really no I rarely feel shame also it’s really not hard to tell they’re lying bringing it up suddenly out of legit nowhere to play victim and say that because of the fact they used to identify as Trans they can’t possibly be Transphobic
Like I’m not new too dealin with bigots darlin I know their dog whistles and I know how they behave
This was the post I remembered it from. I am sorry if I accidentally misinterpreted or phrased my statement incorrectly.
I have seen this person discuss being intersex in other places of the forum and saw his previous posts in this topic as well where he mentioned it before the quote you replied to.
While I don’t condone or agree with their view, I have seen them as a very kind person in their other posts. I believe that he certainly could have handled this discussion better, but he is in no right deserving of what I saw just now.
“A transgender” is commonly used as a dehumanising dog whistle to other as non human in case you weren’t aware
Like I’m not too bothered by it cause reason that is not appropriate for the forum but probably best to avoid using it in future if you want any Trans Person to take you in good faith
Maybe they are maybe they’re not but their language used was extremely off and apparently they’d changed their story multiple times through out the thread if they wanted me to believe their sob story they shouldn’t of played little boy who cried wolf
