No, it will release, but no guarantee it will be without some bugs!! Get your bugswatter ready! How about some good organic bug killers? I hear there are some good ones on the market…(tongue in cheek)

Not really, I actually think the opposite. I know that the last two, maybe three stress tests have improved from the last when it comes to playing the game, which is the goal btw. I do not think it’s going to be delayed, and I think the realm lists will be up in a week or so for people to start preparing, which is more then enough time. Heck, if they gave us the list now, that would still be way to early to an extent.
If they delay the name reservation then we will talk.

Someone had a good comment related to this in another thread: They want to avoid attention/focus removal from the raid progression with retail. Classic has potential to shift some things up in their corporate structure, and I think until it proves itself out, the corporate plan is to ensure it goes well without harming retail.

Had they not explicitly stated the release would not be delayed, everything would indicate a delay.

Supposedly the top run went from 49.8% to 29.8% after a series of hotfixes and nerfs.

My boss has pushed my vacation time back to the Wednesday because of a business trip he’s flying over here for. 
So while I don’t expect the release to move, I wouldn’t be upset…
No… blizzard doesn’t do delays this late. Now the servers might explode for three days like diablo 3 but it won’t be delayed.

They don’t need a final stress test, I bet it was only to gauge numbers anyways. Realm list will be available August 13th, I don’t know why people expect it sooner. You will have 2 weeks to coordinate with people you plan to play with which server you will play. WoW Classic will not be delayed, people (including myself) have already requested off work for the release. It will happen (to prevent angry players), but there may be obvious bugs they will continue to work on (the big one likely being layering not working as intended).

Clearly, the Gnomes in charge of fixing thing with their “big brains” aren’t up to snuff. So the Gnome plan failed.
Time to get the Goblins in there and get things working for release. Will the servers explode? Well with Goblin tech it’s unsure, but better try to just to get the thing out in time.
