People were joining all through vanilla too, Blizzard was constantly opening servers and those servers had fresh progression, it was a glorious time.
It’s not failing because it’s retaining more players than retail but it won’t if people who barely play, like you, are going to dictate when we get newer content. Again it’s 15 year old content and the majority of players already knew that PvE content is literally the easiest it’s ever been in WoW and want BGs (Phase 3). PvP in Classic is pretty enjoyable. Which we’ll probably get a Phase 2.5 early for WSG anyways so you lil whiny people can “level”
You’re entitled to your opinion. I’m not here to debate, simply stating my own opinion, which is: Yes I do think this phase was too soon. Of course this is subjective because you could be done with all raids but I have yet to do them.
Regardless phase has been released so what else can I do but comment my opinion on an open thread.
If anything people who aren’t 60 or haven’t touched MC should be happy, since majority of guilds won’t get to kill a World Boss so you have another 2-3 months before phase 3 to gear up and be on a near equal footing. Personally Phase 2 and 3 should’ve been all in one phase.
Where are you getting your numbers?
Based on my server we have hundreds of guilds with 2-3 full MC raids, walk into any major city and majority are 60s. It’s not hard to see. There isn’t a 100% accurate info but it’s more accurate than OP saying “Majority of players want to delay it”
Not including the multiple daily MC / Ony Pugs
Let’s just stick with that since you just pulled your numbers out of thin air.
Just like OP
Also have you been to any higher leveled areas on your server to see hundreds of 60s both horde and alliance running around? Kinda paints a picture
Do you realize there are THOUSANDS of players on each realm?
Reroll.
Play retail.
Do whatever.
This is a world sim, not a non-ending gear progression escalator. That’s the other WoW.
yeah approx 22,000 players per realm and all I see are 60s in all these places, most people who aren’t on 60s are leveling alts lol
Have you considered the possibility that players might not be leveling alts? Those sub-60 toons are their mains?
Again, where are you getting your info to claim that “most” of the sub-60 toons are alts?
I have and again said, they rolled on a PvP server and 9/10 knew they weren’t going to hit 60 in a fashionable manner. That’s their fault. Why do people think we should get punished because their schedule doesn’t accommodate their hobby.
If you’re on a PvE server then none of Phase 2 affects you at all.
AND if you are on a PvP server and aren’t 60, you can level in dungeons
To add to this, 2 things come in Phase 2. PvP Ranks and World Bosses. If you weren’t rank 60 you weren’t getting a high pvp rank OR into a good guild that’ll get these World Bosses. Only the 1% on each server are going to get the world bosses. So you not being 60 I can guarantee you would NEVER get a world boss kill, let alone a high rank. So your slow leveling is going to be a bit slower. Suck it up you signed up for a PvP server.
Some of us like shaving and showering everyday and like to clean our teeth after every meal and enjoy a video game in between other real life activities.
I’m not claiming level 60s don’t do those things but it is less likely that they do. The XP to 60 proves that in classic.
Is this forum thread really still going? Phase 2 has released already (much to the dismay of anybody wanting to level a character) so it’s not like anything is going to really change.
I’d delete this, but it seems that’s out of my control for some reason.
60s have no life and are stinky because they don’t shower XD
You lost all your validity lol
You know how long it takes to level if you know what you’re doing? a /played of 6-9 days. Less if you’re a more OP class, like mage hunter or warlock.
I played 4-5 hours a day but that’s not me going “hardcore”, probably 2 hours spent afk making dinner or on the phone talking with my co-wokers. You don’t need to spend 12 hours a day to hit 60 before Phase 2 was launched.
And don’t give the excuse “I didn’t want to rush” because that’s YOUR fault, not anyone elses.
That’s actually a horrible way to do it. Acids in foods weaken enamel and then brushing brushes it off. Don’t brush after meals
I always wait an hour or two after a meal before brushing for this reason. My brother in law is a dentist, so I’ve spent a good deal of time learning about teeth. I think there should be a dental hygiene and tooth care course in our general curriculum.
