For casual players, 2 weeks is more time that we could use to hit level 60. It would have been helpful.
You can say that about everything. If it came out 2 weeks from now you could still say it was too early and that “another 2 weeks would’ve been enough for more people to hit 60” it’s on going. If you weren’t 60 by now you shouldn’t have roll on a PvP server. Simple as that.
How does Blizzard manage factions better? The community decides, it’s been like that even on retail. Illidan is a Horde dominate server, so is Malganis. They don’t pluck people left and right off their server. They offer transfers off servers to others but the ones who take it are the losing faction.
So that’s going against the whole “No Changes” that people wanted for Classic.
Faction queues is an awful idea and to my knowledge is happening? I’m on Kromcrush and we are about 50/50 but horde is just spanking alliance despite being close to even on numbers.
Faction restrictions on free transfers is also unfair but okay it might work
Again why be on a pvp server if you don’t want to be pvp’d.
At this point, it just seems like you’re ignoring what I’m typing. I’m fine to do PVP as long as it’s on even footing. Being gank fodder is not PVP.
Also you lost your argument, players don’t get DHKs. Only grey NPCs.
How does this make me ‘lose my argument’? This just reinforces what I said; that level 60’s able to run around and kill low level players uncontested is even more of an issue.
Faction imbalance is not nearly as impactful on PVE servers as it is on PVP servers, but data posted on Wowhead shows that on average, Horde have a 7% numbers advantage on PVP servers, and that’s from September.
They were already able to kill lowbies uncontested, if anything they have less incentive now than prior since their time is better used on 48-60s more so 56-60 since more honor based on level and rank. Once more 60s are ranked high their time is better spent on 60s unless they just suck. You’d have that even if BGs were out right now too. You’ll have groups that can’t pvp in BGs because they just suck so gank lowbies. That’s how it always has been. If anything Vanilla on launch was more hectic since you’d be getting wpvp wayyyyyyy more than you do on Classic, since people have had better things to do than pvp, like farm gold or pre bis items.
Ok but it’s not blizzard’s fault that your friends made you roll on a pvp server even though you didn’t want to. This sounds like a personal problem rather than a problem with the game.
I was calling for the phases not to be out yet. My point is that if players want them all now, they are already bored with classic wow. It’s already failing.
I agree. They’re releasing this way too soon. When you think about it we’re only 2.5 months into the game. I have a full time job and play for 2-3 hours every night which I think is a healthy amount of time to play, and am almost to 60 but would like to enjoy some end game content before phase 2.
It’s like you said, a way to appease streamers and content creators from being bored.
Yeah when over 65% of players are 60 and they are bored because they have only 1 raid to do that takes an average of 2 hours, there isn’t much content. People want BGs but at least honor is better than nothing.
Also 2-3 hours a night is more than enough time to get to 60 ESPECIALLY as a mage long before the 2.5 months that it’s been.
Most people weren’t 60 before Honor in Vanilla
Most people weren’t 60 before BGs in Vanilla
Most people weren’t 60 before BWL in Vanilla
Hell, most people weren’t 60 before AQ in Vanilla
It doesn’t matter WHEN you hit 60, all content will still be viable.
We ran MC up until TBC, we ran all dungeons up until TBC
Yeah you’re actually 100% correct on this. Took me a reread to understand what you meant. People didn’t complain in Vanilla that content was coming out too fast because they were level 34 and ZG was coming out. They looked forward to hitting 60 and seeing it rather than b*tch and moan that it’s coming too fast for them to enjoy previous content.
