We already had this conversation yesterday, I don’t think it would go any differently today.

Doubt it. I see no logical reason to gate flying other than selfish spite. Until Blizzard can give an actual reason for the time gate we’ll just have to agree to disagree here.

You can just not fly at any given time. Ground mounts don’t magically stop working just because flying is available.

I got part 1 in the first month and part 2 in 19 days. Neither of those would have prolonged my subscription time if that was all I was looking to do. The major logic fail here is that you and the OP are using the assumption that people are just playing to get pathfinder instead of getting it via playing.

I know, that is exactly what we discussed yesterday. The difference between something being illogical and someone’s logic not being something we agree with.
I’m not against/for pathfinder. I joined the game when it was already just an aspect of it so it’s all I know… I guess? It sometimes feels like the only real motivation for grinding reputations (at least for me!).
To all of you saying it’s stupid easy, is there a speed run guide or something? Or anyone got tips to get it quickly? @@" Tortollan seekers and the like feel like a drag haha

You can’t really debate the impetus behind PF’s introduction. Blizz clearly put this in 1.) to keep flight in the game because the outcry on flight’s possible removal during WoD was very real and very loud and 2.) to slow down how fast we churn through the content. There’s absolutely no doubt that this is why we have this now.
What isn’t up for debate is the motivation behind it being sinister or spiteful. Just stop it with that crap. That’s pure projection on the part of people who are mad that Blizzard isn’t giving them flight the way they demand it.

They need to stay subbed to complain on the forums so it’s clearly working.
There is no fast way to get it. All WQs are time gated and WQs are the only way to earn rep. It’s honestly a terrible setup.

It isn’t easy.
Especially for new or returning players like you it isn’t easy. Patchfinder has been a jumbled mess since day one of being in game. It is pure spite that patchfinder still exists at this point IMVHO!

To use an example I got part1 and quit, came back for part2, if they do it again this time it will be the same.
If they hadn’t I would have leveled all my alts up in that time and stayed subbed, and yes I am one person with just $30 a month (2 accounts), but that’s $30 a month less they could put into making your game better (plus shop sales, tokens if I needed them, tranfers etc), I wonder how many others $15 plus a month they loose for the same reason, I know of 5 in my own personal small circle or friends.

But no one is going to use a ground mount to get around when they can fly…your comparison is a false one. When they impliment flying, everyone does it that can. So for them to make you play with ground for a while, then put it in, everyone has time to know the zones, etc then fly. No one makes you play while flying isn’t implemented do they? You could just not play until flying is in then play and unlock…
I like pathfinder and as a casual I have no problems getting it done in a timely manner. I was happy to see they are keeping it.
We all have our right to voice our opinions, lets be adults about this.
It’s the 4th expansion to utilize the Pathfinding process. Why is it such a shock to people after this many years? The achievement process is mainly unlocked by doing ingame activities that the average casual player would do anyway.
If you aren’t happy with the system, then quit, none of us will care if you do, at least I know I won’t.
My problem isnt so much the time investment. I play far more than most do who get PF every time anyway.
My issue with PF is that it STOLE MY GAME that I was having fun with and FORCES a game style on me that I dont enjoy.
