Decrease CD of Static Field Totem for enh please

Static field got nerfed because of Resto shaman, but Enhance sham uses it differently than rsham and ele does. Enh uses static as a way to bring people to the shaman so we can cleave, its basically enh shamans version of death grip just with the upside of being able to move people and keep them in place and with the downside of the totem being killable in a global.

This should really be a 1 min cd for enhance. Its barely useable as is. I dont want to ask for more mobility or anything as I feel theres too much mobility creep in the game, but enh is falling a bit behind in that department. Being able to utilize static totem more often would be a good solution though.

Agree, dfs1 it was like a permanent talent for me, although burrow was not required because enh self heals were insane.

Yeah static field was super unique for enh, I really loved the way it was. We like to cleave and apply flame shocks, but our mobility isn’t amazing and we have no real way of getting people to us, feral lunge is great and they could go the route of decreasing the cd there and/or increasing the range, but I’d prefer static field totem to have a lower cd for enh personally.

Also flame shock needs some updated dispel protection. Mine is getting dispelled on CD and its doing absolutely nothing, 300k damage per dispel plus a small knockup. With the way new prim wave works, its very annoying to deal with. This should happen if static cd is not lowered.

Agree I play rsham tsg every season and the static nerf was such a noticeable change in the wrong direction. I think every minute is fine it’s an annoying thing to deal with sure but it’s a unique multi use tool that shaman had over other healers.

Also it’s time to stop only thinking about mythic + at this point just make earthern wall totem a buff on the targeted player to reduce damage by 35% or something.

Rsham has the most nonsense toolkit in modern wow

We should be able to static people through pillars like the old days.

Its just crazy because enh now depends a lot on uptime, and it feels like enh has fallen behind with mobility. Feral lunge still being 25y cap, spirit walk and gust of wind on a choice node together, etc. Static was a great way to provide anti mobility to enhance rather than bloat the game with more mobility. 1 min CD please

Its kind of hilarious to think that one of the main shaman abilities that desperately needs an animation update not just to improve looks but for gameplay and it hasn’t gotten one. Cant see this anywhere, even in m+. They just need to make it like a wall of earthen spikes coming out of the ground so its easy to see. I dont disagree with it being a buff on players either though.

The irony is even the Shaman ground abilities you can see in PVE, half the players don’t know what they are and kite outside of them.
