This rune is impossible to get you have to spend hours on hours so for a RNG chance.
Add way more portals or increase the spawn rates of them or give the rune a 100% chance to drop or SOMETHING

This is one of the worst designs I’ve ever seen. What’s more troubling is that we had the same problem with Backdraft, and they learned nothing. Instead just doubled down. It’s amazing.

I finally got a tuner on my lock this morning… 5 charges = a bunch of junk and no “tuner tuner”.

That was me during my 10 hour stint yesterday… Got one tuner all day, no tuner tuner.
I think the fundamental design problem here that Blizzard doesn’t seem to grasp with runes…
They don’t feel like a “bonus” to have to players… Because they aren’t. They’re literally just asinine gate keeping in the way of actually finishing your class. Any destruction warlock without decimation isn’t a complete spec. When you add the idea that destro is the best dps spec for lock by far this tier, and the only one that can easily bring pact or mark of chaos for required raid buffs, you can start seeing why this is so frustrating for players.
I said this in the lock discord yesterday, but this rune has already pissed me off to the point where I was considering just playing a different class this phase. What an obnoxious, waste of my time.

Its Stupid, Its RNG on RNG on RNG… Put the rune dropping off a boss or a questline that takes abit of time if you dont want people to get it to fast.

Man I just did the Shadowflame rune and honestly I feel ripped off.
Whoever designed that rune obviously did not play WotLK.
worst part is, it feels underwhelming when you do get it, as soon as the boss hits 35% you drop all priority on chaos bolt, i’d rather it just be changed to molten core so chaos bolt is still part of the rotation and my mana isn’t being devoured even FASTER than it already is.
Blizzard please make this run attainable. This farm is absurd and a complete troll
