Why it is easier to kill 5 mobs as 80 lvl affliction warlock in wrath naxx gear 214, than as 85 335 ilvl mage. Like, yes, i know mage will pop up with cool raid gear later… But now it’s somewhat painful.
Maybe i should just keep playing warlock like i did since vanilla classic.

Fire is even worse without crit.
Frost is great on leveling, but in dungeon it’s just unplayable.
I exclusively leveled as fire on a boosted toon and pulled 5+ mobs at a time, use the kit.

Isn’t warlock supposed to be bad/require try hard multiple armor sets, etc. to be decent?
Was thinking of making one but the play style didn’t sound great.
You guys sure hear some weird things about how to play this game…
You can pull any number of mobs with no danger in cataclysm as any class. Cataclysm is when they ruined the leveling experience by designing it for toddlers.
You keep accusing everyone else of “hiding” but seem to have no problem with the level 12 retail sockpuppet with close to 20k posts sharing a censored screenshot.
Yet some people would have you believe the game is harder. If that doesn’t make any sense to you, don’t worry, you’re not the only one.

its supposed to feel bad when your gear is realtively bad and good when your gear is relatively good. thats just how this game works. if youre like me you stop comparing your previous performance from other expansions to your current performance because you know blizz went in and changed all the abilities for no reason so theres no comparison because its a completely different version of that class
Warlock has self healing and such vs mage just having raw damage. Mage blows warlock out of the water at 85 though to the point that there isn’t even a point to playing a warlock when you can play a mage its why there are barely any warlocks around.
You’re clearly playing the wrong spec, try fire
Dot and spam scorch while kiting, enjoy your free pyros.
