Especially considering tomorrow we start a new phase.
So far I think only the Nesingwary Gun is an option. Is that really it?
No weapon I can 100% buy with honor points only?
I’ll admit I’m really spoiled by retail, really want a bow or xbow that doesn’t require me to run a dungeon or find a group.
I guess I might go with Nesingwary but my god I really dislike guns for hunter, and we have no xmog.
The BC arena weapons aren’t very optimal I’ll presume.
Thanks for any suggestions! I never played wrath until late ICC back in the day so have no idea about gearing in Ulduar and before. And my memory is terrible.
You can either make the engineer gun or farm heroic utguarde keep for its crossbow. But the real question is why someone on retail would want ancient obsolete weapons.

Shucks, exactly what I want to avoid. But thanks for the reply.

I’m unsure what you mean by this, but if it is because of my character, of course that’s from retail and I have a Wrath classic character as well.
cant you buy deadly gun for free now? i’d just get that
run 5s 10 games a week or something, even if you go 1-9 you get a lot of points. plus 350 points a week from daily bgs if you are able to play every day
I’ve taken my hunter into PVP battles for achievements and people just MELT when I use the Envoy of Mortality. Considering you’re a dedicated PVPer and Naxx 10 will now drop Envoy of Mortality, you should consider raiding Naxx 10 with others just to get it.
Last time I checked it requires arena points. I didn’t specify (sorry) but I’m looking to gear up a little before trying arenas, I don’t want to be a burden for the team.
And If I understand correctly, Hunter relies heavily on weapon damage, not just stats. So I’m feeling a bit gimped by my current 175 ilvl bow (just dinged 80 yesterday).
As disinterested as you are in PVE content, it was a common complaint from PVP players that for Phase 1, the best PVP gear came from PVE. If doing well at PVP is all you want, consider this part of forming your pre-BiS. It’s not fun but it pays off.
I always hated pre-BiS farming so I can empathize with your situation.
