Death Rising, Week 2

Horde here, nothing in Org.

I think this starts TOMORROW?

I did see 2 zombies in SW when I logged on to my alliance character. Nothing in Org. I mostly just wanted to hit up the new quests “in Icecrown and capital cities.” I see no such quests. D:

Why would you do that? Serious question. If you’ve been playing the game for 16 years, and haven’t liked it for 16 years, why do you keep playing?

I ask because the only we all have is to give Blizzard money, or don’t give Blizzard money. It’s worth it, or it’s not. Everything else we could do is more or less incidental to anything Blizzard wants to do with their game.

The kill Nate mission did not reset or the missing Zombies must have kidnapped it before disappearing.

Buff zombies! We are too weak :frowning:

Finally

For Alliance, a horde of zombies popped up in Duskwood. And I do mean a horde, with frost wyrms with an extremely nasty breath attack. My undergeared alt got 1-shot twice. I was able to mount up while infected and flew to the capital, there is a zombie sprint buff that w ill get you in the gates, but not too far. By the time I did that, the zombies were gone. So, it was like a blitz. Or a bug? Seemed a bit OP, especially in a quest area that is required to get to IC. If you have an alt you plan to get up there, better get it done.

Turn off the auto flagging for pvp. It’s not cool.

Are these different than the ones that have been there for the last week? I know there is part of the intro quest that takes you to Goldshire, Redridge, and eventually to Darkshire that had ghoulies and frost wyrms.

Well before they just froze you for a couple seconds. If they did damage, it was nothing remarkable. These kill you. I’d call that a change. That was my experience with them.

I’d also say the “zombies” probably take on the stats of the person that got zombified. I couldn’t make a dent in the one that got my alt. My alt is complete crud. But, totally outmatched. Note, Player zombie, not NPC zombie.

yeah, definitely different. I haven’t been out there on anything but a 50 this past week, so I wasn’t sure if they hurt lower level alts. ty for the heads up!

nobody expects the zombie inquisition

np! People are so hell bent on taking sides they aren’t being objective. This really seemed buggy. When the old invasion started zombies were very weak and had to group up in packs to survive. This felt like the last day of the invasion. Like they forgot the ramp up part.

Idk, maybe it’s just a bad memory(it has been a decade after all), I felt like the old zombies were more powerful. Couldn’t you heal as the old zombies?

Thanks for putting it out today instead of a usual Tuesday!

Don’t tell me when to take extra precautions! I Gnome I rights!

Why did you have it flag you for pvp when the WotLK one just let zombies fight you without the need to be flagged? This is one of those times we set aside our faction differences, and I don’t want to be fighting the Alliance in such a dark time.

Have you lost the ability to do that in these 11 years?
