This thread in a nutshell. I mean how hard is it to move your eye ball to look at your party frame. Really hard for tanks apparently, to the point where they will fight you and disagree with you on this fundamental attribute of tanking since 2001.

Pretty stupid joke…
All this stuff is a lot of the reason why there are so few tanks out there, because often it’s just a pain in the behind to deal with. Tanking is fun it’s just all the extra baggage that ruins it.

The funny thing about the current dungeons and tank classes…there are lots of ways to drop aggro as a tank, even with MD. So enjoy the death, the boot, and the wait on your next que 
Alright, it seems to go unnoticed. HEALER MANA IS THE PROBLEM. Outside of healers drinking, and making sure a couple dps know a boss fight so we don’t die since certain mechanics KILL YOU now, we tanks be pulling np.
How about actually comprehending what OP is saying instead of flexing your luke-warm IQs and buffing your post count?
Nobody cares what you can kill, I do, however, care if the healer has the mana to complete the pull…

So the math isn’t mathing… If at the start of almost every pull, the healer starts full and blows through 70% mana by the end of it, what does that tell you the tank should do? Pull more and wipe us, then stuff takes even longer, so these dps cry-kids that sat in queue for 35-40 can take out their impatience on everyone else?

If im tanking a dungeon, i always keep my healer as my focus target so i can watch their mana. When it comes to pulling, ill only be fine with a hunter or rogue doing it since they have misdirect/tricks of the trade. Anyone else can cope and seethe while they wait for a rezz.

Sometimes you gota wait 20 seconds to pull to wait on your defensive or the healers defensive. Specially when you got 2 dps standing im every mechanic, not kicking and doing 5k dos while the tanks doing 50-60k on trash. Gota put ya on their back.
a big thing to recognize is that if your dps are pulling ahead of you, it probably means you’re being too cautious. these heroics are pretty easy and you can safely pull when your healer is chillin at like 30-40% mana
health and mana are resources, if you end a pull with full health and your healer at 70% mana it means you’re ready to hop onto the next pack. You can keep going until you end a pull at like 10-20% hp with the group fully oom. is only game you’re not gonna get hurt irl if you die
while i can understand these feelings, as the healer, i would rather you take agro then vote kick. much easier on me to if your keeping it rather than it going from the dps to me or another dps who wasn’t pulling.

Yeah, I do agree with you on most things, but the main thing I dislike is when NOONE interrupts anything. Especially in Grim Batol, those dudes that cast whatever the heck its called and the strangulate ability, is annoying AF! lol
They are used to coming out of AOE fest of WoTLK where they didn’t have to interrupt anything. I interrupt/sheep as much as I can

They just pull hope for the best and then when the healer runs out of mana – that’s the healer’s fault.
Nothing to do with parse, it’s a waste of dmg and time overall, I wouldn’t expect a low effort, trash tank to understand these sort of things, but go off king, keen slugging through slow as heroic dungeon clears
btw OP was a dps all through wrath, you rerolling tank for fast queues doesn’t make you a tank btw

It’s always funny to me how people will say the tank is bad because they just want people to not be stupid. Listen, it’s got nothing to do with the tanks ability. It’s the off chance that people just do something stupid. We are trying to level and get to where we want to be. Doing unnecessary things just slows everyone else down. Sorry. Played this game too long and these PUGs are a special kind of Gen Z stupid man. As a tank, yes, I can clean it up. It’s just a waste of time. The fights aren’t that bad and if everyone just plays their part… we all get through it easy peasy.
