So we have touched on the issues surrounding paid lvl58 boosts and nothing has changed.
My question is:
Are mage boosts going to result in a dead Outland like we currently see in classic? Is everyone going to be leveling exclusively in dungeons after the first month?
If so, can we do something about it? Can we patch out the ability to boost 4 alts or paid lazies with a 70 main?

You really aren’t all that bright are you.
Tell me, what content is currently worth doing to people who played classic from launch, got multiple 60s, many naxx geared? No seriously what content is worth it for them to come back and do? Run dungeons to help your sorry butt?
I’m gonna be leveling dungeons at launch with my group of friends. But sure, no one could ever be doing dungeons normally, just boosters. No one ever runs dungeons regularily.

The old world is certainly not dead, even this late into phase 6. A lot of people boost, but a lot of people also DON’T boost. If the old world is truly dead on your server, consider transferring.
Maybe? I imagine most people will be doing a mix of both, especially if quests are too congested to complete in a timely manor. What kind of question is this?
Lazybones players will always find a way. If that’s a mage carrying them in slave pens all the way to 70,then they will do that. Does it really affect you?
I have no idea what you are talking about.
You sound angry but are halfway proving my point and also trying to insinuate that i need help leveling when I asked for no boosting? Also you contradicted yourself like 3 times.
Can you try that comment again without trying to insult me?

Unsurprising you don’t get that people don’t play games with no content.
You claim worlds are dead, no duh? Classics over, nothing new is coming. Prepatch isn’t here, it could be month away, we only got rumors.
So why exactly do you assume the world should be populated when most people have no reason to be playing at all?
Sorry a few mean words completely made my point impossible to comprehend. Not sure how, but ok.
I feel it affects myself and some others with the feeling of playing a single player game in an mmo.
I understand that people will always try to find a way to meta, but I would prefer that meta out in the world and not consolidated in dungeon boost groups.
Are there really servers with players out in the world? My classic server is so empty that its haunting outside of capital cities

Is your server a high pop server?
Again, its like you just want to troll.
You are proving my point and flaming all over. You’re name now makes sense.
I am arguing for the sake of content in TBC. I want people to experience content and not afk their way to max level.
You can’t say you want content and also say you want to bypass it, you keep contradicting yourself.
I think what you are TRYING to say is that you prefer leveling in dungeons and not grinding quests because it creates bottlenecks. Which I 100% agree with, as long as you are doing it socially in a group and not just paying for a lvl 70 to kill everything while you afk and watch Netflix.

Still ignoring my points cause you got no response.
let me try again, try reading.
Why would people who have multiple 60s, naxx geared, play classic, right now
If you cannot answer this it’s clear you have no argument at all. Saying your
server is dead now and using that as an argument against boosting makes literally no sense. Eventually you’ll get it
Nothing else you say matters. Unless your server was somehow dead since launch, it makes total sense it’s dead now and has no bearing on your argument. Literally none. More importantly, your evidence is purely anecdotal
" I don’t see anyone leveling on MY server!" You scream, as if this applies to everyone.
Also failed to if your server is high pop. More useful info you for some reason omit.
I’m on pagle and it’s always fairly active at most hours of the day. Prime time on a weekend though? Good luck getting popular quests done lol. It feels like the first month all over again.

Seems more like you are the one wanting to troll.
Boost or no boost. 1-60 leveling content WILL BE DEAD in a few months no matter what. It is the natural progression of expansions.
As for mage boosts in outland? You have not been keeping up with the news. While its possible for them to still AOE grind, it is not worth the time or effort with the game changes made. So, we can only hope it dies out a slow death except for those who simply want the challenge.

insert dungeon finder
Seriously idk my server has the same issue it’s basically dead outside of people raid logging with buffs. While lvling my toons in prep for tbc it’s rare that I ever see another player.
I’m on Krom Krush. After the first month I rarely saw anyone in the world. There were typically a very large number of players boosting in SM, Mara, etc all times though.
The dungeon boost meta was just so strong.
No im not talking about the current state of classic.

I’m levelling with a group of guildies exclusively in dungeons from 60-70, then dungeon spam for rep to revered, then Heroic dungeons for a bit of pre-raid gear then straight into Kara. Open world quests I’ll do later when I need the gold (they pay more at lvl 70 btw).
Then you’re talking out of your a$$. My server was populated up until now, and I STILL see groups for BRD/LBRS/UBRS/DM etc.
Not to mention questing upon the portal opening will be a nightmare.
One thing that I think about when considering Vanilla vs any expansion. Azeroth is huge. There are multiple places you can go to level in any level bracket.
Outlands is a bit more linear. While the level ranges of some areas do overlap, there are far fewer zones than there are in Azeroth.
I feel that Outlands will have more of an overworld population visible, than Azeroth due to both dungeon levelers, and people spread thinly across a far larger map.

I didn’t really take this into consideration and it will definitely have a bigger concentration.
I’m on low to medium population server and I see people everywhere. We have a very active community, people are all over the world still leveling alts.
So there goes your theory.
The world is not dead and it won’t be in TBC.
Extending this point.
How many zones per level bracket are there in classic?
Levels 20-30 you could quest in the following zones
Hillsbrad, Ashenvale, Duskwood, Wetlands, RedRidge, Thousand needles on alliance alone. Horde have other choices.
In outlands you have 1 zone for the first half and a choice of two after 65. This means we have condensed the average of 4-5 zones in one bracket, down to one for levels 58-64(?) and you then get two choices for the last two ones. Nagrand/Blades Edge and then Shadowmoon/Netherstorm though you often end up doing both sides anyways to unlock dailies and pre raid bis quests.
