is anything going to be done for the dead servers? Are any type of server merges coming?

A few helpful suggestions that have appeared in other threads:
- Make RDF region-wide (maybe after 5 minutes queueing or some other threshold).
- Allow collection of Frost Badges from WotLK Heroics (currently only available from ICC and it is nigh on impossible to get a raid together).
- Allow Frost Badges to be exchanged for a Bind on Account token, which can be traded with other characters back into Frost Badges.
- Nerf Gammas.
A few small adjustments would improve QoL for the remaining players that are still active and want to gear up alts to supplement/help the steadily declining raid teams fill.

No, not until Cata. Cata will be hyped again and fill up servers, no reason to close them down now.

Well by merge, I mean like server combine. I forget how they word it… But cross realm combining. Que for low level characters is like 45 min+ for dungeon finder. BGS’ can’t get in at all… its kinda sucking right now honestly blizz.

Thst didnt happen until mop. Not sure if they would connect servers that early.
Right now OCE servers are excluded from NA RDF despite being included in the “region”
Blizzard can’t be bothered. They will however regret shovelwaring the best versions of the game when most of the subs leave.

I mean not until cata when the servers start to empty gradually and we might see small to medium servers need a free transfer so they can sell tokens, as whales need reliable gdkp and ticket runs. I believe some people had transfers off small servers which will continue as cata hemorrhages players. Because whales do need normal players to carry them through the tedious raids.
