Shocking for all the classic players who claim they’ll never touch dragonflight, it’s a completely different playerbase, and nobody they know plays retail…

It’s not shocking to classic players that Retail whiners are unhappy with the low pops from DragonSchmagon. They prove it by continually coming here and trolling instead of playing their connect-the-dots-for-5-year-olds version of WoW by themselves.

I think that there is some overlap with people who play both Classic and Retail and will go to whichever one has the “newest thing”. I’m sure that both the WotLK playerbase and the forums will get a surge of players when Ulduar releases.

Half the people I see on these forums are posting from retail characters spamming complaints as if they are even financially relevant to classic. Them fleeing straight back to the next retail expansion just proves what the classic die hards have been saying lol.

huh i dont know why you say this, when all retail content is way more advanced and difficult than anything classic offers at all, especially mythic raiding for high world rank.
TBH I noticed these forums have been extremely low in activity lately, but think that’s been for the last month or two. Not sure it has anything to do with Dragonflight. TBH I thought what was happening was because the forums were always the SAME thing being posted on repeat “Unlock servers,” “This company/game sucks,” “Add RDF,” "My server is dying,“X Y Z is bugged,” etc etc, that those posts were just being deleted by a mod or something. The few posts we are seeing on a daily basis are the ones that make it through that either haven’t been locked/deleted yet, or have nothing to do with the topics that are constantly posted about.
Forum is dead because I took a break, but even I don’t want to revive it. Let it stay dead, it resembles the state of the game.
