I have noticed the same 2 dead characters near the bank/AH on Bloodsail - One is named DeadOrc and the other is VirusDenier. What is interesting is the corpses have been there for 4 days now. I assume they have to keep their connection on in order for the bodies to stay there? Anyone else seeing this? Reminds me back when the gold sellers were leaving corpses to promote their website.
I’m sure those on your server find the humor in it. No need to post here to bring attention to your joke, seeing as those of us not on Bloodsail are able to properly experience it. It’s borderline rude.

See a ton of horde bodys in the alliance AH in stormwind on bloodsail as well, pretty sure its just people trying to keep the appearance of numbers up. I think when the server transfers were announced I saw a huge spike in random low level corpses near the opposing factions AH. odd.

Interesting. How is it they can keep their bodies there without them disappearing? I thought your corpse will fade away or does it just stay there until you run to your body?
Lmao that’s a weird conspiracy theory. I know when I look to see population I look straight at the floor for dead level 1s. If there aren’t any then that must mean the server is dead 
Bit of a necro, but I was wondering the same thing. I’m not talking about level ones left dead in a city. I’m talking about in like westfall or something, where they were obviously questing.
Why does a body sometimes disappear after a day or two, and some stay for at least a week?
I think it’s been close to two weeks for 2 different bodies there on Obsidian. One by the FP and one way out in a field to the west by the higher level knolls.
Based on the one by the flight path, who probably rage quit, because it was most likely from griefing, I thought maybe if you never log back on they stay there, but I seem to remember not playing a toon for a while when it died, but playing other alts, and when I eventually logged back on it had self rezzed at the GY with no penalty.
So it got me wondering…
