It seems very sus that Blizzard somehow gets ddos’d nearly every week at this point.
I have not seen another gaming company experience this much ddos as Blizzard does.

It’s not a DDOS attack, it’s just all the streamers trying to kill the boss in STV.
There will be another “DDOS” tomorrow if they attempt to kill it again, 5pm EST apparently.

Not everything is a DDoS. But there is a recent subgroup of people with an axe to grind that have already demonstrated a level of arrogance conducive to thinking they deserve to be able to punish others because they weren’t allowed to get their way.
Now they call a DDos attack the disgusting capacity of the server that cannot host a thousand people at an event.

Well WoW players can be pretty salt and hold a grudge. (Maybe GDKPers and RMTers)
Also DDOS attacks by their nature are the easiest cyber attack to commit and relatively cheap, you just throw thousands upon thousands of bots at the server.
It literally states that it’s a DDOS attack on the log on screen.
Asmongold hosts events with more viewers than all of these streamers combined and they didn’t come close to breaking the servers as much as what is happening right now. It’s 100% a ddos lol.

Glad these all happen when I am at work.
Once you’ve seen the effects of a DDoS first hand, they’re easily distinguishable from regular old lag or server-related issues. Please do not be disingenuous.
In other news, this isn’t a direct attack on the servers. It isn’t affecting everyone. Yet.
