Guess Putin got hit by another Halkias frontal and decided nobody else was allowed to have fun either.

maybe putin was having a bad day after losing a bunch of tanks so he logged onto wow and tried doing a necrotic wake but then was out dps’ed by someone using a Javelin of all things. This suddenly reminded him about all the tanks he lost and he straight up raged?

Yeah, it’s on the launcher too now. Most unfortunate. I was hoping to get some time in before I had to work. Ah well, other things to do.

This happens all over. Not just blizzard. It’s the world we live in

Which Twitter account? I can’t find it.

and we’re not invited? dang

But what about the changing password/authenticator not working issue? I tried to log in before I knew there were issues. It wouldn’t take my password. So I went to change it, and it asked me to authenticate, but no requests came through to my authenticator. I worked around it and got it done. Now I tried to log in again, and it will not accept my new password. I REALLY don’t like this business of my passwords and authenticator getting messed with. No good.

They owe us, haha.

Was about to post it but it seems you found the twitter account.

At best, lack of effective DDoS mitigation services confirmed.

Everything public on the internet deals with this. You don’t see google, amazon, facebook, twitter and all those other services routinely saying “Temporarily unavoidable, we’re getting DDoS’d again.”

DDoS attacks last longer than 15 minutes.

denial of service is denial of service doesnt really matter how it gets executed :face_with_monocle:

I never got what these people get out of DDoS attacks…

Are they getting paid?
Do they plan these things?
If so, what is the significance of the day?
Wouldn’t it get boring after a while?

I have it on good authority that the alleged “DDOS attack” is just Blizzard’s cover story to hide the real reason: an illegal work slowdown by the server hamsters to protest the replacement of Pepsi in their break rooms with - gasp - RC cola!

/moo :cow:
