Myself as well as players i have played with are constantly getting these infinite loading screens entering arenas. Lose rating and also get the deserter debuff.

Why do I never get lucky enough to see these millions of players not load into the other team?
This just happened to me. Very annoying, I have no idea what’s causing it.
Keeps happening to me over and over over the last few days on multiple characters. I’m just going to stop doing arena while we get acknowledged
I feel like it’s getting worst too, yesterday it was literally 1 game out of 5/6 : /
You’re playing against r1s or streamers that have ssds…just like me. Feelsbadman.
I pretty sure it’s not hardware related, I have a very good ssd and insta load everywhere else
So odd, I too have been having these issues. Twice so far, however it’s been upon exiting the arena; never entering it. Same loading screen, bar never goes up at all and I have to restart to get back in. I know it’s a far better circumstance but if the issues are related I hope it gets resolved; especially if it’s affecting your guys’ rating.
Have you tried getting a job and buying an SSD?
