DC while fighting

I am having a problem with dc’s. I seem to only dc when fighting mobs in the open world. Or I kill a mob and when I try to loot I dc. I can dc 3 times in 10 minutes sometimes. I can raid MC for 3 hrs and never dc. Or do a 5 man dungeon for 1 hour and never dc. I can herb for hours and then if I fight a mob while trying to herb, I dc. BTW this is not a troll. It actually happens to me and has been for a couple months. Getting very tired of it.

Hey there Bluebie! Let’s go ahead and have you run a WinMTR network test while the problem occurs in-game so that we can further investigate potential network-related issues between your computer and the game server. Here are the instructions:

  1. Download the tool from this page
  2. Enter the game IP into the “host” field. The IP address for our games are listed on the WinMTR instructions page
  3. Start the test and play the game for at least 15 minutes. Ensure the problem happens while the WinMTR tool is running.
  4. After recording the problem data, click “export text” and save the WinMTR file in an easy to find location.
  5. Once you have that made, open the file. You’ll need to copy and paste the contents of the Text document into the post, and put four Tilde (~) marks above the WinMTR. It’ll look like this:

WinMTR v0.92 GPL V2 by Appnor MSP - Fully Managed Hosting & Cloud Provider

Bluebie,

Your winMTR looks perfectly fine. Since this seems to mostly happen during looting, my best bet would be some bad cached information somewhere. Uninstall any addon managers (twitch, wowmatrix, etc) and reset your UI. If that fails, power cycle your network. Any luck if you try those?

A post was split to a new topic: Beavertin - Disconnection Issues

I have no addon manager, I reset my rounter and pc, and reset my UI according to the listed page. And I still dc’ed killing a Jadefire Betrayer just now. And I removed all addons .

Or it could be, I don’t know, somewhere on Blizzards end. NAHHHH couldn’t POSSIBLY!
