If blizzard insist on these no fly zones in current content, then the least they can do is do away with daze.
Having to switch to tank spec or choose a mount equipment that gets rid of my water walking (which I earned on the strider before they decided to change the goalposts on that) is not acceptable, it’s just bad and infuriating game design.
Korthia is tiny yes, but if you mount up the minute a rare spawns you sometimes only just make it for a tag, getting dazed often means missing the rare.
At this point it is a dated and pointless mechanic and I would love to see it gone, it would make ground mounting much more bearable. Please and thank you blizzard
if you are not a tank spec you can not run into a pack of mobs without getting dazed or knocked off the mount
any dps or healers have to take paths from mobs
Why does there need to be a consequence? lol! They are trash mobs and take a minute to kill, esentially they are a waste of time, and those seconds and minutes spent killing them are precious because as I said usually is the difference of making a tag or not.
And that’s great for you with mount equipment but I earned the water strider and it really isn’t acceptable making me choose to lose out on something I earned in favour of fixing a stupid mechanic that should’nt be in game. Or just let us fly in the maw and korthia then.
No it isn’t, I earned the water strider, it’s bad enough that blizzard changed the goalposts on it to now become mount equipment.
There is no good reason to have daze in zones we can’t fly.
Or just let us fly in those zones then. Simple.
And we can’t. Nothing is going to change that now. They’re treating the Maw similar to Argus. It does suck, I agree, it would’ve been better to be like Nazjatar and Broken Shore.
Daze was around long before that water strider ever was, and it was accepted…there are consequences to running through a mountain of mobs. You’re lucky to get something to equip now against them, and it is now a choice whether to take water walking or no daze. Pick one, and learn to live without the other.
I earned the water strider too, and have watched all sorts of things change throughout the game I may not have liked…I either get over it or quit [I haven’t quit yet…but it won’t be over this if I do].
This to me, water walking seems useless to me but it’s to each their own regardless.
