druids can soothe, and rogues can soothe as well. point being, ton of classes can also have the same utility but brings more buffs outside of just lust. so again, why do they want HUNTERS outside of other classes when other classes can do similar things and bring more?
Rogues give up other parts of their utility to soothe.
Plus having two soothes isnāt a bad tbh f.

Why bring a mage over a hunter when mages can literally do everything we do and provide buffs. They can CC stun, slow, lust, kite slow, sheep. sure we can soothe, but druids got that covered as well along with their battle res and verse buff.
Looking at the Recent Logs, MM is among the top. On World First, BM was on the top.
Let other Classes buff us. We do the damage. We have some utility that other Classes have and we are on TOP dps enough for us to be invited on Raid or M+.
I am not looking for Hunter to be better in utility than a Mage. I am more of a Hunter combination with Mage/Shammy a more powerful combo than other combo.
We are nowhere near Shamans damage that bring the lust and other utility. Having āother classes buff usā will not get us invited unfortunately.
I am not looking to be better in utility than a Mage either. We are not even on the same level as a mage or shaman. The biggest thing is that we donāt bring a buff like they do. Most people want buff spread out and utility as well. While we bring utility - so do ALL of the other classes as well.
Okay, make a full raid with only Shamans since everyone is not better than Shaman right now.
Yes we bring and so do outlaw rogues.
all iām saying is while we have good utility, itās not enough because other classes have good utility PLUS brings buffs and more SIGNIFICANT group utility (like a battle res or de-curse/dispell). You can always kite enrages as a tank or mobs. In this dungeon rotations, the decurses and poisons are so strong that itās manadatory - unlike soothes.
Shaman is obvious flavor of the month. I am not expecting to replace them. But I am unto to have a Shaman-Hunter or Mage-Hunter combo which is better than Shaman-Lock or Mage-Druid.
To me, itās like MM is poised to dethrone Shamans in DPS on 11.1. Hope it happens.
if only you had a shot that could bind mobs in place, or a trap that was sticky and could slow mobs, or a shot that burst mobs backwards away from youā¦

Or maybe a bloodlust style one (separate CD from lust) that buffs crit for the group by 15% for 15 secs
DH needs a damage buff not a utility buff
A mandatory raid spot via 5% magic dmg isnāt enough?
Hunters bring lust which is perhaps the most useful thing in M+. And if thereās another lust class in the group you have the choice to swap to a personal defensive which no other class can do.
WW have it worse than hunter. Mystic Touch is the most useless buff in the game since most attacks are magic damage.
At least you have bloodlust. * cries in warrior *
To be fair, we need a complete defensives rework, but utility wise weāre pretty solid.
Crit would be sexy and worth having but not too strong
You can have pets, or group buffs, but not both.

So hero is nothing and having roots, stuns slows, CC, Misdirect and what not is not having group utility in your mindā¦ hey can I rent a room there is clearly some free space there.
Our pets used to provide raid-wide buffs, back in the day.
We still have Lust and stuff.
