I mean i and others play this game every day just like we have for the past how ever many years and its fine.
Dont get me wrong ive experienced bugs and annoyances but when those things relate to years old content versus running ur weekly m+ its hard to really care.
My average m+ and raid experience is just fine and basically bug free.
It doesn’t but they don’t really search for them either. As long as i dont stupidly publicly post a screenshot or stream with my character name in it, they will never know. Nor will they actually care as long as im not using them to cheat.
Edit: or talk about using them in game and get reported.
I think I prefer the actual rotations in 14. More and more WoW specs are getting homogenized into builder/spender rotations where the vast majority of your time, as well as the APM, is being taken up by 3-4 buttons.
This may sound like a wild concept, but in a game that has a paid subscription model that generates hundreds of millions of $ per year, no bugs should survive longer than a few weeks at most.
This is why you have internal QA testing to catch these. The age of the content should not determine the importance of the error. If it’s wrong then it’s wrong and it needs to be fixed because someone is paying to experience that product.
The sword that is clearly tacked on to gameplay meant for a dedicated caster. The job is designed to spam magic most of the time, and without procs it takes 18 GCDs to be able to swing the sword at all. That is an issue when the class in question uses magic and a sword. It’d be like if Ret could only swing their hammer once per 20 uses of Exorcism or Holy Shock.
The 7 million number is literally made up but if your defense is 4+ million vs 254 million accounts…lawl. You should try and rethink your strategy. Use peak subs, 12 million, and it’s still a joke.
I dont think you will find a single piece of software anywhere let alone one as complex as wow that does not have bugs.
We put a lot of pressure on the devs of this game to ensure a good experience but lets understand that at the end of the day its a jerry rigged 20 year old video game that was never meant to be the definitive mmo we all played forever. Its a miracle raid and m+ is as consistent as it is. I mean these desync issues are the worst technical issues we’ve had in multiple years.
I never said they were the majority of the rotation, just the fact they had the 123 combos.
Further more, the 2 minute meta sucks. No class will truly feel unique because all CDs have to line up for the burst every 2 minutes for the group buffs.
And i see your comment about the 12 million subs being a joke, no game has really come close to those numbers of ACTIVELY PLAYING SUBS (not players, lots of games done that, people PAYING MONTHLY)
And if you think some sub-par anime version MMO, with fewer players than blizz has subs, you are obviously willfully ignorant. So talking to you is a waste. Bait someone else. I’m not interested. Not like you have facts and statistics to back up your BS anyway.
