just remove the dungeon from the game, period
I’m not a fan either. It reminds me of that scenario on the boat in MOP
I love Dawnbreaker. But my “went to disneyland a bunch growing up” brain just wants to describe it as the Indiana Jones ride out of the dungeon roster so far.
For the non disney folks. This ride is great. But it has a ridiculously high chance of being broken down at least once a day. Since a lot of stuff is going on in that ride. I don’t recall how often they just shut the ride down for a long time to give it proper maintenance. But for a park goer, it don’t matter.
So far the only issue I have with the dungeon itself is lag. Which can really suck when its a flying section or the time you gotta hop off the ship for 2 seconds.
But when the lag doesn’t happen. I think its a fantastic dungeon.
I like Dawnbreaker, but I am a tank and tanked it on Beta so I know the route, and I know which enemies to pull, how to get around the dungeon, what the boss mechanics are and have never had an issue in that place since I first ran it.
Once you know the dungeon, or have a tank who knows the dungeon and YOU ACTUALLY FOLLOW THEM, you too will find it is in fact a good dungeon to play.
Among the best in TWW. Glad it’s on the first rotation.
Dawnbreaker is the worst dungeon in the game.
City of Threads is the 2nd worst dungeon of the expansion, top 5 worst in the game.
The Candle dungeon is the 3rd worst dungeon in the expansion, top 5 worst in the game.
3 of the 5 worst dungeons in the game are all from this expansion.
Blizzard, what in all that is holy are you doing?
It’s fine once you learn the dungeon route.
I do think, however, that it will need a bit of a rework for when it inevitably gets added to M+. It’s going to be so damned boring killing trash while avoiding the second boss for %.
Dawnbreaker is fine , Direbrew however , just get rid of one or two pack of mobs at the entrance
Or at least put in a repair guy at the entrance if people are gonna just keep dying and respawning in a chain
it has broken twice for me today, first one we did not get the mini ships, on 2nd bug the last boss could not be interrupted at all
Yea that dungeon is ahh
i like the boss mechanic on the final boss in dawnbreaker where u have to move to the correct side or it hits the group. other then that idk if theres any other positives…
it can be quite buggy
Cannot wait to try and time it with a pug group
Okay and what’s your vote for #4 & 5 if I may ask? I mean yeah Dawnbreaker sucks that I can agree, worse when the side boats forget they’re solid and you go to land on them and phase through them only to fall to your death but still. I’m wondering what you’re comparing those three as being worse than
I like the concept of dawnbreaker but it has a bunch of bugs that happen quite frequently on repeated runs, as well as it can be hit or miss if you get parties that know where to go on the city part, and don’t pull a bunch of extra packs along the way.
Dawnbreaker is awesome and seeing murloc onesies hate it is one of my favorite things I’ve seen today.
I love Dawnbreaker. The combat flight mechanics are a breath of fresh air that dungeons needed. I like chasing the boss in the air. I like the barrel mechanic. Only thing it could use are better minimap indicators to help guide the players. Really neat dungeon overall.
It’s the only one of them I enjoy at all. Everything else is a hallway full of mobs.
Probably the oculus and old hillsbrad take 4 and 5 spots.
I don’t ever roll my eyes, sigh, and get salty when I see another dungeon on the loading screen. 85% of the dungeons in this game are good, and about 5-10% of them are amazing. But the ones that are bad, are just strikingly awful.
They seem to have really raised (lowered?) the bar with how bad they can misdesign dungeons. Yeesh
This dungeon is simple though. Just land on the boat and go to the 3 lieutenant spots.
