Dawnbreaker is the worst Dungeon in WoW History

I see your dawnbreaker and raise you Occulus. It can always get worse, friend.

Iā€™ll never understand how so many people have an issue with Oculus. Iā€™ve never had an Oculus run that took more than maybe 10 minutes. You follow a simple path, fly to a couple platforms, and nuke big groups of mobs and bosses. Itā€™s so simple.

My only issue is getting to the final boss. Thatā€™s very convoluted and should just have an automatic skip.

The dungeon I have a problem with is city of threads. Where youā€™re just wandering around looking for invisible NPCs aimlessly for half hour.

City of Threads is pretty awful as well.

I only did it once for the quest but I donā€™t intend to do it again because I hated it, itā€™s like Nokhud 2.0 where they took everything bad and annoying about that dungeon and then thought of how could they make it even worse for Dawbreaker and then did it.

My pain comes from others not knowing where to go next. Iā€™ll be at the boss usually with one other person while the tank, the healer and the other dps are loop-dee-looping around all over the place like theyā€™re trying to find the local costco.

Dawnbreaker isnā€™t even the worst dungeon in The War Within LOL. It was rough for a few days, but I havenā€™t had a single wipe in there all expansion. People seem to be figuring it out.

Darkflame Cleft is an easy contender for top 5 worst dungeons in the gameā€™s history, however.

This is such bait, the instance is so easy that I was falling asleep lol.

What Iā€™m curious to see is if the average player will start switching their flight style after the first boss. You can steady fly into the town and it makes life a lot easier since you can hover and coordinate. Then you just turn skyriding back on after you kill the second boss to fly back up to the ship.

Thereā€™s kind of a landing area near the cathedral where some Arathi are hanging out making a golden shield/bubble, and when you do it in a follower dungeon, they mark a little hill area near the house with the lieutenant as the landing spot. But it probably wonā€™t be until people start doing this dungeon on Mythic+ and more guides and routes are posted that the knowledge will trickle down to everyone else.

Once you have it down, the dungeon is pretty easy. Thereā€™s just going to be a learning curve as the playerbase gets used to it.

I wonder if this will be a Heroic only thing like it was for Nokhud.

This post hits differently when you finish this dungeons back to back while trying to get gear with 0 deaths.

Trust me, this is worse. Much worse.

Whats so bad about this dungeon? You just mount up and fly around to specific locations.

For one it literally kills you when you follow the instructions to follow the boss.

I havent died once and ive been farming heroics all week for valorstones. You just need to collect the yellow bubbles while following the boss.

Its up there but not to this level.

Itā€™s bad. Itā€™s okay to say things are bad. Dawnbreaker is bad.

The biggest problem with this dungeon is the bugs, Iā€™ve had it happen in sever groups now and once to myself where the main ship at the start is completely invisible and you canā€™t progress in the dungeon, the rest of the group runs on where it should be and disappears, dying or teleporting out and back in does not fix this issue so you have no choice but to take the deserter debuff.

true 100% true lol.
