Bricked two different 16 keys last night with this.
It’d be nice to at least see a “We’re aware of the issue” blue post on this.
This happened to me in a +13 last night. The ice gate was never lowered and the key timer ran out. We need some sort of whip to lash Chromie or something into working again.
Still happening as of December 1st.

Happened to us as well, bricked a 20 because of it… perfect.
Just happened on a +11.
Our group tried leaving and re-entering this area, full team wiping and not releasing til all of us were dead, and zoning out of the instance and zoning back in once everybody was out. Chromie just stayed channeling on the slime.
Group was Blood DK, Resto Druid, Enhance Shaman, Ret Pally and BM Hunter. Also had one still running to the area after a death when the trash was pulled.
Just happened to my group; +7 Couldn’t find way to break soft lock
Party was guardian druid, mistweaver monk, bm hunter, and 2 fury warriors

Just happened to me, 22 days later. STILL happening, ruined my +14 key.
It also happened to us on a rock, we were on time and we lost the dungeon. +6
It would be nice to at least be told what causes the bug, in case it was something avoidable. Blizzard has already tried to fix it once, so they may well be aware of why.
This just happened to my group. Chromie’s last voice line was “Come on! The Aspects are just ahead. Uh, wait, uh. The Proto-Aspects, I mean.” Then she got stuck performing her bronze channel on the blight of galakrond, and never proceeded to open the door after we killed the 3 pack. This is an extremely frustrating bug and needs to get fixed ASAP.

Just happened to us as well, 12/11/23. Chromie stayed casting on the blob and the ice wall wouldn’t fall.
