Dawn of the Infinite Heroic Difficulty Coming in Fury Incarnate

That item is a myth lol

Include

Into optional group content also as none of it is mandatory/increases player power. Roll a tank spec and you can solo all the ‘high hp rares’, the ‘elite quests’ - the only thing you cannot ‘solo’ is the actual optional public things where, you can just solo about in them without having to group up or comminicate with a single person and complete them.

You get to click a button completely solo and experience every bit of the game without having to communicate witht another person ever - lfd/lfr. Outside of this every bit of ‘group content’ is optional.

Create your own learning group of like minded people and go do that? I spent the early weeks of any given season running countless lower level keys to learn the dungeon and mechanics.

You couldnt queue for some content until you passed it

No you are suggesting that a kid who decided to take a calculus class, didnt learn what was needed to complete the test and want the teacher to give an itemized tutorial of how to complete every answer.

They are if you left early or failed to loot a boss!

It’s heroic, so probably the same as the other dungeons on hc difficulty-wise.

That means i’ll be able to solo it as a ret pally. xD

Typical that someone who has no idea of the normal learning process would think putting 5 people who don’t know what their doing together would result in them all mastering it, considering all evidence that this never happens. Are you not aware that average players have only average skills? Have you avoided hearing good players complaining about other people who don’t seem to be getting better?

If your solution is to change nothing, then nothing will change. You will continue to expect to do nothing different and expect the results will suddenly change.

Nope. A vanity achievement in MoP was made a requirement prior to queueing for wod heroic dungeons. It was there for most of the expansion, even though it was only needed for the first month, until people outgeared the content. And it didn’t work. It didn’t serve as a learning experience. And it didn’t keep bad players out of dungeons. We saw constant whiny threads about “bad players still getting into my dungeons”. People who didn’t feel like paying some malignant stranger to force them to take tests to access the only content in the game, a lot of them quit. I did a few characters, and after that I just did PvP.

It was bad for the game to drive away players, even if it was an ego boost to know the system was punishing casuals for being “bad”.

Nope. Teachers give lessons, explain how the content is done, then assign practice before giving the test. Wow does none of that, did none of that before making tests mandatory prior to playing. There is nowhere in the game a player can look to ask, “how am I doing?”

But the experience would be different.

I guess that’s good news for casuals, since it’ll drop S2 item level gear.
DotI is the new catchup?

I’m just lumping it all together.

did anyone test on the ptr if it dropped quantum items or not, i tried and queued as tank a lot during testing but never got a group

Nothing new was added in the PTR version, to the current iteration of the dungeon. Casuals aren’t going to run it through on PTR just to verify drops. Easier to complain on the forums when things aren’t dropping

i would argue people know care about xmog and the items that have unobtainables and unimplemented items aren’t ‘casual’

Lots of casuals hunt xmog and mounts and drake customizations.

God forbid someone wants to learn the place alittle before stepping into nightmare mode we cant have people doing wise things around here. Alot more people would have cleared it on mythic by now if this was the case

I doubt players who clear it on heroic will go back and clear it on M0, after they’ve learned the place a little. Unless those quantum drops are restricted to M0, since nobody knows for sure yet.

Again, and people need to stop ignoring this just because they don’t like the answer, the difficulty was the appeal.

why are so many people here allergic to failing? is it an ego thing?

Actually the wise thing is to learn it on a higher difficulty, then do it on an easier difficulty. You can always tone down your performance as needed, versus trying to guess how much more Umph! you need to put in for the higher difficulty.

First mega dungeon? They cease being mega and fun after they are included in M+ or made for heroic… usually M+ comes with 200-500% nerfs on most mechanics

I didn’t expect preseason 1 item level numbers for the requirement. I knew it would be easy but cmon…

I think it’s that they don’t want to take initiative. Freeloading content is what the majority of wow players do.
