One of the many battles between the Alliance and Horde have bled into the Timeways, and it’s up to the heroes of Azeroth to put an end to this time anomaly in order to continue their journey. But first they will have to face Grommash Hellscream, one of the Horde’s mightiest chieftains. For the Alliance!
Is there one for the Horde where we get to beat up Turalyon?
The longer your make the dungeons, the less people will play them. Make content people enjoy. All the drama around mythics stems from them not being a length people want to play. People are miserable when they are playing content they do not enjoy. Stop inflating the length of dungeons, shorten them instead. We already have raids for people who want to be an instance for an hour, we don’t need raid length dungeons.
30 minutes for an M+ is already double what a dungeon should be, and the people who enjoy that length of dungeon are the only people allowed to work on their gear. The problems with WoW are so basic and obvious, it seems like malice for it to not have been resolved years ago.
And that is great, for those who enjoy that. We have the technology to have options. We don’t have options because options is bad for the carry market. You can look at the 5 posts on the forums asking for long dungeons and feel that this is what everyone wants. It’s not what people want at all. You go in these long dungeons, people are miserable, overly sensitive, rage quit prone. You got in a short dungeon and everyone is focused on the task, has a good time. Even the people who say they don’t want short dungeons are only ever happy in short dungeons. The people who can’t tolerate long dungeons are long gone, and we needed them.
The heroic version is already split into two. If the LFD ilevel requirement is 372 (below preseason 1 cap) I doubt it’ll take even 30min to clear each wing, once players know what they’re doing.
Why exactly isn’t it available in normal and heroic difficulty on launch again? It would seem like you’re intentionally spreading this out to last longer… but then why not release normal, then heroic, then mythic? That sure would have made for a smoother learning curve.
It was specifically supposed to be a challenge, a harder than normal dungeon, that was the selling point and what people were looking forward to for it so i can see why they held off on releasing Heroic (not that I would oppose them releasing it earlier).
That said I don’t think they’ve ever done a Normal Difficulty for the intentionally hard dungeons (Kazavahn, Tazavesh, King’s Rest, etc).
Same reason lfr isnt released in full on launch - to promote players to go complete the story quest lines in the intended difficulity first. Mega dungeons have additional story lines on the scale of a raid. Mega dungeons are intended to be completed at first over some time, with progression in the form of a mini raid - not just queued for and completed without any investment.
