I think part of it is also trying to use reforged aesthetics.

One of them is quite literally the exact same colours and armour Vol’jin wore. Besides the helmet the armor set is just short of identical to Vol’jin’s outfit, almost same shoulder, chest, belt etc. Same exact colour, red-ish orange and white with gold trim.

Yeah, for me the whole set minus the face mask is pretty solid. I just can’t take that mask seriously in any capacity.

Yeah, the helm does throw most everything else off honestly. Thankfully there’s a good number of troll themed alternatives already. The feathers are a bit weird though since Jungle Trolls view birds as weak and unworthy creatures.
Honestly hope they dont some art work looks okay but not really a fan of it i did like the mask look im okay with them adding that piece of armor
If they were updated i would agree with ya on that still hoping they update those armors
This would’ve been the perfect mask for it.
Especially since it came from Vol’jin.

could have given colours for jungle/forest/ice/sand trolls instead of going all-in on darkspear. orcs are muts that get to choose their clan, why cant troll players get something?

I hear ya, and you’re right BUT, I should have specified the missing color is the Tealblue iconic for the Darkspear Tribe it is the Darkspear set not the Vol’Jin set afterall. Sure Vol’jin wasn’t wearing it in his most recent model but he did in his older model. I went back into my post and specified. Thanks for bringing that to my attention.
The chest and Belt on Vol’Jins model are way cooler. His back piece fits what I meant when I said I’d like to have seen them build upward. There was just a lot of missed potential on this set.

LOL I couldn’t put my finger on why it was so bad but you’re right, it doesn’t go around the jaw like it should, after everything we just went through I find it hard to believe the designer never wore a mask but it comes off that way! It’s like when Medieval people would try to draw dogs XD

Wtf is the helm.
Look at the shield, it’s horrible. It’s just the TP shield but recolored.
It looks fine though that helmet leaves alot to be desired
