because it introduced playable forest trolls, and extra quests about stuff I waited for years but never happened on retail.

Actually sounds really cool, I never really tried it out but I keep hearing good things. Is it free? Why is it called turtle?
Because by the level 20 you can aquire turtle mount. At least that’s why I think so xD

We arent complaining about the length thats fine and we actually wanted it long. What we did t want is it going over the nose and being part of the mask

I find the Draenei dencet, but the Trolls… terrible. They look like whack job ninjas, nothing about it looks quite witch doctor to me. lol I was expecting something a lot more voodoo looking.

Its nice to see so many ppl dedicated to source material, it makes me feel so good since I am a lore enthusiast.
Since they gave a lore reason for the new mask I am not as defiant as I was, just hoping we get an extra troll mask and more old school troll armors now.

lol it still cracks me up looking at the nose sock, and the absolutely unusable “bonus” masks we received.
It’s actually something I’ve noticed that the guys in charge or fixing armor to models, they are completely incapable of making masks properly fit to a Trolls face.
Bloodhunter mask: Too small and sits at the tip of the nose.
Laughing Skull masks: Too small and sits awkwardly.
Then you have the new Loa masks…oh man, I wish I could post images for context, but basically they suck.

but to make it short, it’s too small, the cords are compleyely off on male’s head.
And I just got reminded that identical mask Vol’Jin worse on his crotch.

I am wearing it now, it just doesnt show on here. I didnt think it looked bad.
I don’t think it looks that bad. But I also can see why some people might not like it. It is definitely a matter of taste.
Isle of Thunder had Masks that sat nicely on troll face, but they were very Zandalari themes.
So if they were stubborn they could’ve np make a mask that sits well.
And if not this one, then slightly alter the one Zekhan had. Which also worked well with troll male face.

That’s the level of attention to detail I expect, and no I don’t think it’s too much to ask for a heritage set that’s fitted to the actual race it’s being made for.

You’re totally right man, thing looks horrible and all that extra fabric above the nose when viewed from the side makes it 10x worse. They could have fitted the thing properly and covering the nose might not have been such a big deal. (but they really should ahve left it uncovered.)
Exactly the length is like THE ONLY thing they got right lol.
Great observations, the Trolls will forever be an afterthought apparently even for their own heritage set. The belt is a glaring testament to that. Those tiny Loa masks are almost completely useless.
