Darkspear Troll Heritage Armor Set Looks Terrible

Reminds me of how AI can’t seem to figure out how make things work sometimes like hands… like it was trying to figure out how to make a mask like that work on the Troll nose without realizing it should be under the nose like a human would.

Seeing this set I totally understand why it’s being dragged through the mud so hard, it’s an absolute slap in the face to everyone that was waiting for the Troll heritage set, there are some seriously iconic pillars to what makes and awesome Troll outfit and this set straight up ignored every single one of them one tiki plate on the shoulder and a serpent on the arm does not make this a true heritage set. Not to mention the mechanical issues. I hope they fix it.

Just look at some of the cool speculation fan art that was being made for it, they had so many cool options from the old lore and RTS and designs and they still managed to screw it up this bad.

Hey, you guys really gotta check out this post right here and follow the links from it Fuzzbutt is on to something about the nose under the mask, this ain’t right and all that material bunched up over the nose, there’s more to it than just the nose being covered.

Yeah there is a very good chance it was AI generated and possibly not even touched up by a human hand after, just shoveled to the masses.

I’m gonna say there’s a 40% chance because I prefer to think they wouldn’t do that. Then again they literally said they’d be doing it for heritage armors specifically so I don’t know what to think anymore… maybe it was AI.

Only other option is it was designed for Humans and never adjusted but honestly I don’t feel like that accounts for how impossibly bizarre it looks. Probably accounts for the belt but idk about the mask.

I really like the one with the 2 big wooden masks coming off the back like in WC3 that would have been super epic.

I think I know exactly which one you’re talking about that’s the only back piece where no skulls would have been acceptable, but then they’d need to put them somewhere else.

Could be both, designed on a human by a human then poorly fitted with AI?

It definitely could be, sure would be nice if Blizz came out and said “hey sorry guys we shipped this set and it was the product of an AI and a bad intern, we’re gonna fix it up and give you a plate option and cloth option with skulls and a teal color, fix that mask and send it right back to you” but that’ll never happen, accountability eludes this company.

I’ll take things that’ll never happen for 500 Jarvis! At best they might fix the mask, I highly doubt they’ll touch the rest of the set although they really should.

And I thought my heritage armor was bad.

Al ot of people still feel the Worgen set is worse, Don’t get me wrong it’s totally uncharacteristic of a werewolf but it does look inherently Gilnean at least, but it’s too bright and shiny. This Troll set just laughs in your face for no reason, taunting you saying “I’m awful and what are you gonna do about it? Nothing.”

Mine is saying “I’m perfect and you’ll never find better, you think you know better than me!? You can’t change me!” It’s a challenge. I’m gonna keep trying to get this thing fixed because this set should not have seen the light of day.

I can’t understand mine, it’s all muffled grumbling due to the copious amount of cloth piled over the face.

Crazy new conspiracy, Garrosh designed the Troll set as revenge for the revolution.

The Kor’Kron are alive and well living in California pushing out anti Darkspear propaganda… saying we have you know what’s under our masks…

I should have known Garrosh was behind this, he’s been playing 10D chess the whole time pulling the Jailers strings and trapping Vol’Jins spirit so he couldn’t interfere with Garroshs plan to force this terrible set on us. He wants our noses to be locked away for good….

Turns out Garrosh was just jealous of our noses all along so he devised this plot to cover them up. He wants to replace the Darkspear cultural identity with that of elephants for reasons that aren’t entirely clear yet.
