In this thread, please post if you played WoW on the Alliance side of Darkspear (US) in 2004-2006.

For best results, post what you remember about yourself and your friends you used to play with:

  • Your character’s name, race and class.
  • The name of your original guild on this realm.
  • The character names of other players you’re hoping to reconnect with.

Please stick with in-game info, and do not post IRL identifying information about yourself or others.

This is Zonzede, Dwarf Paladin of < Valour >. You’d often find me wearing Thorns gear and picking on Rogues and Warriors out in the wild. If I was running in a group, I’d be the healing caboose on Thrux’s steam engine.

Shoutout to Heinous for being a cool guy, and also TheDarkness. We never talked, but you were awesome.

Cadia still around? That’s awesome, definitely one of the more infamous Alliance guilds from DramaSpear.

I started WoW in a little Horde guild called Alliance Embassy I think, and we pal’d around with some of you guys if I’m remembering right.

Good to see some familiar names and guilds showing up here. Our old alliance guild Icon still exists but has moved to the Thrall server to play horde for a bit. We are planning to probably jump back to alliance for classic when the time comes.

Hi it’s Mahanaxar the Nelf Druid. I identify as an orc hunter now. With Arch and a bunch of other OG Icons we moved to Thrall just before WoD.

Icon was getting the band back together before Blizzard made it “cool” or “official.” We were ahead of our time really. If you remember the three of us, or any other OG Icon from back in the day, feel free to speak up and say hi! We’re still missing a few pieces from a full set.

As a side note, if anyone has contact with the following folks, send them my way.

Cadia former member here from MC/BWL/AQ40 and Naxx era .

Some of the funniest players I have ever Guilded with in WoW.

Played as Darby a warrior back then.

Satsukii here from Ruin and The Crimson Tide. Lately I’ve also been with Icon over on Thrall, since WoD.
Used to run with the PvP grind group with Havitz, Lockette, Latifah, etc

I know Ruin is over on Korgath, but pretty much lost touch with them.
People from The Crimson Tide I’ve lost touch with as well save for one or 2.

Chipman exists still, talked to him about 6ish years ago if anyone would come back it would be him or Iolo
