Same here, though it only seems to affect my one character that logged into game while the initial bug was still in effect. My other toons that didn’t log in during the “missing skin time” seem to be unaffected.
EDIT: Actually, I just logged out on a different character that didn’t log in during the “missing skin time”, and on logout, the skin reverted to the non darkfallen skin, so yeah basically if you have the darkfallen skin on your character, you now need to start your session by going to the barber shop and resetting your look, because it will revert back to whatever it got changed to upon exiting the game.
EDIT 2: Okay the weird stuff has gone away, and now the state only changes after I log into the character, play, then log out, the skin will switch when I log back in again, so I took the old edit out and replaced with this.
It doesn’t cost any gold to fix it, just the time taken to visit the barbershop. The game “knows” I have the Darkfallen skin and eyes selected, it just doesn’t display them for some reason.
Visiting the barbershop, clicking the chair, and then immediately cancelling without changing anything will cause the character to revert to her correct Darkfallen appearance. It’s just a 5 minute annoyance to port back to Org and fix it for the day.
Same here. And she only logged in briefly from the mobile app, not even the actual game!
This is still happening to me, but it seems that simply changing the character appearance is enough to trigger it. I specifically used the toy Dark Ranger’s Spare Cowl that gives you a Dark Ranger Appearance. When it wore off I had my selected skin/eye combo.
So I have noticed that if I see the wrong skin/eyes on the login screen for the character, sometimes simply logging into another character first, logging out, and logging back in will reset the appearance before I log in.
Strangely enough, my BE hunter that is using the Darkfallen look has not been affected. I’ve logged him in and out several times during all this. Very odd.
