I mean, I love star wars, not all of star wars but Lucas was 100% correct. Star wars was aimed at 12 yo boys first and foremost to sell toys.
It was such a gamble he didn’t even think it would make it past the first movie in how generic it was. It was the special effects that really highlighted the greatness at the times.
Also gotta love his exwife, she is the one that had to rewrote a lot of the lines for empire and the script.
