Same with demo locks if that should be a factor then Void elves should not be able to become demo locks.
There’s a DI death knight in Island Expeditions. I don’t see why they don’t either. Just make it so that DK can’t earn heritage and boom.

I don’t think you understand what I’m saying.
The Death Knights were made BEFORE Void Elves existed.
Therefore a Blood Elf would have to be turned into a DK and THEN be able to turn into a Void Elf.
VS a warlock…where a Blood Elf becomes a Void Elf and then take the job/class of Warlock.
What I am saying is that from the stand point from lore they are already a warlock before they decided to become a Void Elf. That is how the LF space goats work and so on. There is no lore or other factors besides Blizzard being lazy that keeps a Blood Elf DK from becoming a void elf. Other wise Void Elf mages should be using void magic and Warriors shouldn’t have rage. The fact that void becomes part of their body is the only part that matters. If you also want to fight that point then only DKs and Warlocks should be able to become Void Elves and no one else since they have no connections to the void, and that would be dumb.
There were some Zandalari in Zul’Drak. They were right next door to the LK himself
I didn’t see any Zandalari at the Wrath gate but i did see Mag’har orcs.
One even became a boss. Lol
They were in Zuk’Drak recording the fall of the Drakkari empire
Chen’s empty keg was in the barrens in Vanilla.
There fore there is lore for Panda DK’s.
Which i don’t care for pandas but i think they’d be awaeomse dk’s. Lol

If you are trying to point our pandas as the “there werent many” argument i think we can end it with Void elfs. Their population was non existent, one is created and now theyre a playable race. Blizzard clearly only uses this argument when its convenient
Dude the mag’har that are playable are not from outland or our reality. They are draenor orcs from the alternate reality. Hence the quest to recruit them being on draenor and not outland

I am serious about the Mag’har though. The more i play my lil Mag’har hunter and warrior the more i like the race.
It’s almost tauren master race status level.
If they could be DK’s they would be master race level. /shrug

There already is a level of unfairness. When it comes to sheer heritage armor acquisition, it’s monk or bust.
Because the playble DKs broke free of the Lich King’s power way before the Wrathgate. The playable DKs are all former members of the Argent Dawn.

There’s no reason for Void Elves, Zandalari Trolls, and pretty much anything that may have had contact with the Lich King at some point in time to have been a Death Knight, the allied race caveat simply needs to be no heritage armour unlock for a DK. As for the quest to slaughter ‘one of your kin’, Dark Irons kill the dwarf, Void Elves kill the blood elf, Zandalari kill the troll.
It’s a bit anachronistic (what isn’t) but they are a blood elf death knight who delves into the void.
