I had fun. Good event.
What you did is hardly mature. I call it like I see it. You can put me on ignore as I will do the same with you and your guild. The poor sportsmanship is appalling as is the lack of maturity.
mmm⌠yes SMOrc
Please donât lump all of us together. There are MANY who had fun at this event alliance side.
Thereâs a way to handle grievances and complaints. Thereâs polite ways to do things. Those polite ways and proper channels have not been used and itâs sad to see.
The Great Hunt went quite well! Had such an amazing time with the fighting. A shame there are poor sports that like to try and derail events with baseless accusations. Looking forward to the rest of the Dance! Stay cool everyone!
I do not believe in posting complains and feedback in the space in which the content creators are in full control of the channels, posts, and moderation.
This is not an accusation that anyone within the DotD organization team is would do this.
I simply believe in making sure truthful feelings are heard unedited.
If you are uncomfortable by public criticism do not lead public-posted events.
I had a great time and would do it again.
The goal was to find our prisoners, and we did.
The Scarlets had fun because our groups were split and the 40 horde person group (not actual number but close enough) went to the 20 Person Eastvale group, therefore the Scarlets had little resistance. Eastvale couldâve had more people and thus it wouldâve been a fair fight but we were instead forced to drop people.
The Scarletâs numbers counted against us, despite not really interacting with us or even aiding us. This problem was brought up to moderation ahead of time and it was ignored.
And with the Scarlet-group now posting their enjoyment â of course they did. They encountered zero to minimal resistance because they never intended to work with the rest of the group.
While we clashed with a mass of horde x2 our groups size, you guys had a peaceful jaunt â and then STAYED In the safe zone after rescuing the only participants you cared about. You made zero efforts to work with us or communicate and the Horde side made zero attempt to make sure all parties involve would engage a fair experience because of it.
I am really and honestly glad you enjoyed it. We didnât. Please do not presume I am trying to drag things through the dirt and make people upset.
These are just plain facts of the experience we had. Facts. And itâs okay for them to be heard without taking it personally, folks.
I saw a few of the Alliance going to interact with them on Tuesday, and yesterday several of the Alliance group was seen interacting with them.
Letâs not start making things up now.
No one who has listed their grievances has divulged into insults, this is merely feedback being offered.
Just because the feedback is perhaps not what one would like to hear but it is important to perhaps try to see why someone is expressing that feeling or complaint, instead of dismissing it entirely.
edit: typos
Please post on your main if youâd like to call people out, Mereldri.
I am talking about the PvP portion of the event.
We are glad to engage in camp roleplay with them.
but for the actual event, the scarlet/alliance side were forced to split into two separate raid groups, and the horde was not. Whichever one of those two parties(the scarlet or alliance group) encountered the horde, would have been outnumbered x2.
We tried to plan and work around this, and any offers of accommodation or changes were ignored.
It was literally set up for one group to have zero engagement and fun because of this, and we just happened to draw that straw. Of course weâre disappointed.
Scarlets had a mission to reclaim our captured members and a plan to do so. And we werenât âforcedâ to be in separate raidsâŚwe had our own group and Alexandria even whispered me asking if we should combine or not but when we gave our numbers she said that we would be over the 40 limit if we did.
IC there was no reason for the groups to work together, with the prejudices of the Alliance camp against Scarlets. OOC, we dropped at least seven from our raid to try and make the numbers even, only for your group to complain about how "oh we trained for so long and hard and it doesnât feel right to have them drop from the group. " Newsflash: We geared and prepared too. Maybe not to the extent that your guild did, but we still prepared. Yet we still had folks step out. And yea, there was no effort on your groups part to try and strategize with the Scarlets.
Precisely. There were simply too many to put into a 40 man raid. It was a numbers game. You canât fit 50 people into a 40 man raid. Itâs just not possible.
Thereâs a slight misunderstanding here. Again, I am not leveraging accusations of behavior - the very layout and design of the event by the way of the alliance/scarlet engagement was inherently set up to fail to begin with. Our side of things felt like an afterthought in terms of coordination, you happened to benefit from the chaos of it.
The numbers of all parties involved were balanced, but you guys had your goals, and we had ours, and the horde had one. The event was specifically story-told and designed to make sure the scarlets and alliance had separate goals.
The horde could function as one entity.
We had to function as two.
Are you following?
This is the makings of a poorly designed event. This side the event mixed us together numerically. The horde was allowed to have 40 members, the alliance was allowed to have 40 members,
But the alliance split into two groups of two(scarlets and non-scarlet.)
One group who encountered the singular horde entity would never have fun with this event.
You pulled the better straw. We ate crap.
I had a great time, heck I got rescued.
Dude I have to alternate and switch out mains because you have this weird obsession with me and have had it for the past three years. Seek help. Please and thank you.
Iâm sorry I stood up for myself and my friends when your friends tried to blacklist us from the whole server because yaâll couldnât communicate anything with us and accused us of metagaming. I donât know what you want from me. Thereâs worse people than me.
