Damage + CC

My gut feeling is that in a meta with so much burst and damage that CC just lasts too long.

I was happy with the cc and damage last season it felt quite balanced but this season it feels over the top.

Perhaps for this season only - the DR window should be moved up from 18s to 20s.

And the 2nd DR increased from 50% to 60% with thre third one going to 80% from 75%.

And I get that CC is the central pillar of arenas so it can’t be changed too much or it turns into a zug zug.

And I know everyone will just say play a comp with 4-5 different CCs and sure that works but I like to play a range of toons with RL friends for pvp.

There are quite a few toons with minimal cc and in this meta they dont feel like they add much to the team and tbh its quite frustrating.

I think I would be okay with them removing 3rd DR (full immunity after 2 CCs).

This would slightly reduce the maximum length of CC chains and prevent dumb .5 second stuns from stopping casts. It would lower the skill cap on CC with resetting DRs, but with the game trending towards solo queue, that might be a good thing.
