Blizzard…can you do something about the ridiculous lag in Dalaran? It’s atrocious on Tuesdays after maintenance but even now it’s still pretty bad. I realize this is a cutting edge concept…MMOs with population centers have never been tried before this so I’ll cut you some slack

It’s only natural that they would reset the number of layers to one after every maintenance.
It’s a weird resistance to using the cross realm zone tech (even without connecting the realms) to spin up new layers of that individual area.
They find phasing between zones too jarring and immersion breaking, so instead we just get 2s delays on all actions in dalaran instead. (Because they spin up new layers of the continent, but not enough to actually fix dalaran because then you’d literally never see anyone in the world if they made that many layers)
Much more immersive.
What’s your specs? Since playing I’ve had to deal with 8GB of ram… and “lag” wasn’t the word for it when one would enter into major cities… But since upgrading my ram from 8GB to 32BG… no more lag type issues. So if you have less than 32GB or ram, best opt to upgrade

Shouldn’t need over twice the recommended specs for the game to not get massive, disgusting lag.
It’s only in Dalaran. And I remember it being a problem in Legion dalaran too.
