Uhhh dalaran did fall due to Archimonde and the lich king in WC3.
Dalaran also didn’t fall to spiders this time, Dalaran fell because of the use of the dark heart, which is juiced up on the essence of galakrond (and most likely the old gods, khadgar’s own power because he shot at her and more as well.)

I guess demon hunters are basically non-canon outside of every demon scenario. One Demon Hunter and the plot of Shadowlands dreadlords and Xalatath’s master disguise doesn’t work. They just get forgotten about again and again

The real question is why Kil’jaeden (who was on Azeroth physically in 7.2) couldn’t just… do the same. Play with some sand castles one afternoon on the Broken Shore, right below Dalaran.
I like it, not my fave, but wish it wasn’t broke.
