Yes, some of you have noticed that dalies give less gold now.
Before complaining, please note that the 25-dailies-per-day cap is removed, too.
No more having to pick and choose which dailies to do - do them all!

Yes, unlimited dailies. Always nice.
But each daily going from rewarding ~45g each to like 9g each is crazy. So we’re getting like 1/4 of the gold for the same amount of time invested compared to pre-prepatch. To earn the same amount, we’d need to spend even more time doing dailies. (Assuming there’s even enough dailies currently)

So they nerfed the gold per daily but uncapped them…so you get to do twice the work for the fraction of the gold? A little bit of a head scratcher there, definitely not a W if you’re doing them to make money efficiently

They are level 85 dailies in a level 90 patch

Yes it sucks… but it’s w.e tbh.
It’s because the game now thinks max level is 90, it’s not that blizzard went through and nerfed the gold rewards specifically. Normally the experience you would get from a quest gets converted to gold at max level, but because the game doesn’t recognize us as “max level” anymore.
Blizzard should make 85 still be the max level until actual mop drops

Max level currently is 90 just not able to get there now. So naturally the quests don’t award max level gold. Just buy a token if you really need gold.

Nah I don’t need the gold, I just think its a little silly is all.
I don’t know if it’s removed or just hidden. Regardless, I expect it will be back at 90 cause there are a lot more dailies!
This is good news for the people who load up on quests to hand in before the xpac drops.

Argent Tournament dailies give 13g > 20g and those 13g dailies give the Champion’s Purse that gives 10g.
There’s TB, Molten Front, Argent Tournament, Icecrown Gunship, Sons of Hodir, Frenzy Tribe/Oracle dailies. As well as profession dailies.
Not sure on everything else but Argent Tournament alone nets you ~500g I’m pretty sure, about to do it now so I’ll confirm.
13 Dailies, ~208g… Must’ve done stuff previous when I looked it yesterday.

Unless youre blizzard then its unnaceptable to make less for more work (quality). Just slap a token in the game and call it a day. While constantly releasing unplayable recycled buggy content (every patch release both sod and now cata, mop has been a buggy, gamebreaking disaster over and over again)
Cant achieve things through the game cause it literally would take weeks of grinding? Buy gold, they set this up on purpose soo that a person goes is my time worth more or less than a token and the answer is gonna be buy a token.

Ps. good luck to all returning players or SoD players shuffled from a gamemode blizzard themselves euthanised on getting a fast flying mount without getting burnt out from unenjoyable grinding in a game (games are supposed to be fun), ofc unless you’re willing to splash 20$ for a token
